Hey guys it has been a while but I am back, I am mentally in a better space to finish this story. I will be posting every weekend. I worked on my English so hope my writing gets better. let me know what you think to leave a comment.
It is Saturday morning and Lincon is knocking on my door, Lexa! time to get up we have to practice so you can make the starting eleven of your team. I rolled out of bed quickly brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. after that I had oaths with strawberries for breakfast. Lincon always wanted to be a professional soccer player but he never got the chance to do so. I started playing soccer because of Lincon. He started with Aiden at five years old and I always wanted to train with them but he wouldn't let me because I'm a girl. I started to train myself with the ball when Lincon wasn't around. and Aiden would join me. One day Lincon came in the backyard and caught me practicing, from that day on he took me seriously and taught me everything I know today. Lincon is very hard on me when it comes to soccer and eating healthy is important to us. Aiden and I are training hard to become professional players one day. After our practice, we went home and Anya prepared dinner my mom was working late again. We all sat in front of the Tv with our plates, Lincon was watching the ESPN channel and Anya went out with her friends. I just received a text from Raven she wants me to come over and hang out with her. Raven's parents are divorced and Raven lives with her father Kane her mom moved back to the Netherlands. raven lived 15 minutes away from my house when I'm at her house she doesn't want me to leave it is always fun hanging with her she would order pizza and we would blast some music and she would talk about boys and I would listen and give her advise. I feel guilty sometimes for not being completely honest with Raven she comes from a wealthy family her dad is very rich and sometimes I don't know why she wants to be my best friend. I come from poverty and I am really careful who I let in just to protect myself from being bullied. but Raven is different she came to my house once and never made me feel like I was less than her from that day on I knew she would always be my best friend. I have noticed Raven is more excited about boys than I am. I don't want her to think that I am weird so I would always act along. after a long day laughing and chilling with my best friend it was time to go home.
it's almost 7 pm and my mom is not home yet the rest of the night my brothers and I watch a movie called D.E.B.S because they are big fans of Megan Good and so am I, but as I was watching that movie I came to realize that I liked the scene where two girls are kissing each other. I couldn't stop thinking about it and I was smiling but scared at the same time. what if someone finds out would they hate me? I think I always knew I liked girls but I was raised Christian so it felt wrong and I pushed it down and out for as long as I could. after the movie I went to bed. the next day I had plenty of homework to do, as I finished the last school project I went to bed. Raven and I texted and she asked me if I want to go on a double date with her because she had a date with this guy Murphy and she wanted me to tag along. I got nervous but I said yes because I didn't want to disappoint her. I will dress up in some jeans and a T-shirt and applied some lipgloss. I will not dress to impress because I am there to support Raven. I feel like I am ready to talk to Raven about my feelings for girls. I don't know what to expect, all I know is that I'm nervous and I don't want to lose my best friend. the day after our double date I will tell Raven how I feel. tomorrow is a school day and a double date, I more excited about free food than this date. my mom knocked on my door and came in I haven't seen her since this morning she works so hard all I want to do is make her proud. my mom Indra started to work so hard after my father died and was never around anymore even on birthdays she would be gone the whole day. Lincon and Anya work as well to help with the bills. My mom kissed me on my forehead and wished me good night.
