"Oscar go!"
"Who are you!"
"A friend that's buying you time!" I screamed behind my mask, furiously pressing keys on the security system. He looked at me one last time and started to run, while helping his dad along. By the time he at the door, there was nothing else I could do. I watched him run outside with his dad while I slowly slid down the wall.
I took off my black, leather jacket and covered my head with it. It was a fireproof one I designed myself and then I pressed the button on the switch I had in my pocket. A weak forcefield appeared around my body as I sat there waiting for the bomb to explode I could hear the shouts of Oscar.
"I have to go back and get her!" He shouted at Carrie, Rose and Frank.
BOOM

The force field helped soften the blow but I was still hit with falling debris and my head was bleeding: but I got up. I threw my jacket on quickly and withdrew the force field. Then I ran. Out through the hole in the wall next to me and started up the emergency staircase of the building next to me.
"Look she's there!" Carrie shouted and she, Rose and Oscar ran after me.

I got to the edge before I heard,
"Wait please! Thank you for saving me and my dad's life!"
I stopped at this and turned around.
"Who are you?" Rose asked, "Why have you been helping us more than the last team?"
A smirk appeared underneath my mask. I walked towards them and pulled two envelopes out of my pocket.
"Choose one. The one on the left will tell you who I am and the one on the right will tell you why I've been helping you. Pick one and then I will burn the other. Choose wisely." I simply said.
They looked at the options and then Rose took the one on the right. I took the lighter out of my pocket and burned the other. With that, I ran to the edge.
"But who are you!" Carrie questioned.
I thought for minute. Who am i really? "Who knows. A friend? The next time we meet, you'll know who I am." I replied and flipped over the edge. I landed on my motorcycle and sped away.
***********On the rooftop***********
"Open it." Carrie said.
Rose opened it and started "Dear Rose, Carrie and Oscar,"
"How does she know our names!"
Rose ignored her and carried on.
"This letter will tell you why I've been helping the MI High teams.
It's because of Rose. During the first few days at St. Hopes, I had no friends but Rose came and talked to me. Rose, you introduced me to your friends and helped me become more confident and because of this, I now have friends. From that day, I promised to protect your MI High team and help them when they were in danger.
You also wanted to know why I've been helping this team so much more than the other. Well it's because;I love you Oscar." Rose said in disbelief.
"I know you won't ever think of me as more than a friend but I couldn't live with myself if you got hurt. This is all why I've helped you guys and am going to help MI High.

"She goes to St. Hopes!" Carrie said.
"Yeah and it explains 'I have been closer than you think' " Rose said.
"Oscar....are you OK?"
"She risked her life for me......because she loves me. I have to find her." Oscar replied. "Come on, Frank's waiting for us."
