Mirabels pov

I was walking with abuela to the river we talked at,After climbing through the mountains we walked to the river,But.....theres something on the other side,I cross the water and to a deer?,It was a fawn,I looked around but no mother,I looked at the fawn as I hear abuela cross,I sit on my knees and abuela sits next to me"What is that"She asks,And touches a metal thing on the fawns leg,"I dont know"I said,She tries to open it but fails,I try and also fail,we try to open together but fail"Lets take it to luisa"Abuela says,I nod,Abuela grabs the metal thing and I pick up the fawn

Me and abuela walked inside casita and laid the fawn down and with isabelas help held it down,The fawn cries out for help and whines,Luisa walks over and opens the thing and the deer starts moving and runs I to ne and trembles hiding in my stomach,I hugged the fawn as it cried

Yns pov(The fawn)
