Just another day of training to defeat the pillar men~

"Jojo! You're off your game today. Rest up for the rest of today and be ready to make up this wasted time tomorrow." Lisa Lisa stormed away, tossing her hair dramatically behind her. Joseph was panting on the ground, staring at his master as she walked away. After slowly regaining his breath, he stood up and stretched.

"I have no idea what is up with me right now. I don't feel any different." Joseph had been performing poorly all morning.

Apparently Lisa Lisa had also canceled Caesar's training so he could watch over Jojo.

BONK

"DUMBASS!!! WHY DID YOU GET MY TRAINING CANCELED!!!" Caesar had run up behind Joseph and decked him behind the head. As Jojo rubbed his head, he tried to think of a response, but nothing came to mind. Maybe he really was off his game.

"Sorry..." Joseph mumbled under his breath. Caesar stood there confused, but soon reverted back to his fiery personality.

"You'd better be sorry!"

BONK

Caesar hit Joseph over the head once again but this time Joseph didn't react. These feelings were new to him, was he... upset?

Slowly placing his hands in his pockets he began pacing off towards his room, leaving behind a very confused Caesar.

"I guess Lisa Lisa was right. There is something wrong with him today."

Joseph was the most confused he had ever been. He was a generally optimistic person, but had he finally given up in his subconscious? Maybe it was the whole poison ring thing finally getting to him. Quickly moving to his room, he shut the door and plopped down face first on his bed. Not a great idea with such a bulky mask, but he didn't care at the moment.

Jojo laid there, confused and upset. Slowly, he could begin to feel himself crying, but tried his best to stop it. He couldn't cry in this sort of situation. Heck, he was supposed to be training.

"Maybe it would be better if I just went off to face the Pillar Men by myself. I shouldn't have gotten Caesar and Lisa Lisa involved."

Lost in thought, Jojo had not noticed that Caesar had been knocking on the door and then suddenly opened it. Joseph glanced up at the blonde before immediately hiding his face. There was no way he'd let Caesar see him cry.

"Jojo? Is everythi-"

"EVERYTHING'S FINE JUST LEAVE!" Joseph interrupted the blonde, not meaning to shout. He began hiccupping as he tried his best to stop crying. "Please just leave."

Caesar carefully shut the door but stayed inside the room. Joseph turned to see that the tall blonde was still there. Their eyes met, Caesar's unwavering orbs meeting Joseph's unstable ones. The two just stared at each other for what felt like an eternity until Caesar broke the silence with a loud sigh.

"So this is why our training got canceled?" Caesar stared even harder into Joseph's eyes until he had to look away. "I'm going to assume you bottled up each and every emotion you've had since you got here and now you can't control it anymore, right?" Joseph continued to stare down at his feet, unsure of whether Caesar was right or not, although it sounded like something he would do. He never wanted to burden anyone with his troubles.

Losing his patience, Caesar strutted up to Joseph and held him up by the collar of his shirt. Forcing the two men to look at each other once again.

"COME ON! THE FASTER YOU GET OVER THIS THE FASTER WE CAN GET BACK TO TRAINING."

Joseph stared lifelessly into Caesar's cold eyes. He didn't get it at all. After all, it wasn't his life on the line. As Caesar saw the usual bright light in Jojo's eyes fade to a dull, it finally clicked. There was actually something wrong. This wasn't just another ploy to get out of training.

Slowly Caesar lowered the brunette back onto his bed. Joseph only sat there, crying quietly, as Caesar thought of what to do.

In the end. nothing really came to mind. He never thought Joseph could even get this way. Moving carefully, Caesar bent down to remove the mask restricting Jojo's breathing. Now at least he could cry peacefully.

Joseph's glistening eyes stared up at the blonde as he removed the mask, his expression seemed so gentle. It was the first time he had seen such an expression from the man. As Jojo watched, the urge to hug Caesar only grew stronger. Slowly, he rose up from the bed and snuck behind Caesar. Before the blonde could turn around, the brunette had him in his arms. Caesar gasped for air at the surprise, but soon gave in. After all if it would help Jojo then he would do almost anything.

"Hey Caesar?"

"Hmmm?" The older male hummed in response.

"Can we sleep together tonight? Like a sleepover. I don't care whos room we use. I just need someone to be around right now."

Caesar thought it over before grunting a response. "Fine, but only if we can get a full day of practice tomorrow."
