A cloudy day.
Never rain, no sun, just clouds.
Beautiful mists of fog cover the ground.
A little library, right next to a quiet coffee shop.
Often, there are rarely any people here.
Just me.
I like it that way though, it's quiet.
No one to bother me while I read.
I had been sitting in the corner with my little puppy.
Reading a lovely book.
A book of two.
A romance novel.
As I put the book down to go get my puppy, Cosmo, something to eat, a figure walks in.
when I go to set my puppies food down in his little playpen, I see the figure looking in the romance section.
The figure picked up a book and sat down on one of the bench seats by the window and began to read.
I saw her take the book back to the shelf, looking for a different book.
'Maybe I should help her find a book.' I thought to myself.
As I walked up to her, she was scanning through the other books.
"Hello." I said, looking into her beautiful hazel eyes.
"Hello." she said, with a kind smile.
"Do you like romance?" I asked, looking at the books, then back at her.
"Yeah, I do. Romance novels are quite enjoyable to me." the girl said, joyfully.
I told her to wait a minute and went back to the corner where I was reading.
I had left the romance novel that I finished reading there when I was getting Cosmo his food.
I walked back over to the girl, to find her standing in the same position.
I handed her the book and said, "I hope you like this one." with a small smile.
...
The girl left, giving me the book.
As I read the description, I was pleased with what I saw.
Unlike the other books, this one was about two women who fell in love.
I opened the book and on the first page it had the name, 'Nadine Mckay'.
Along with that, there was a note that said, 'I saw you looking at the other romance novels and kept putting them back. I hope that this novel is up to your liking. - Nadine'
'Nadine, what a beautiful name' I thought to myself.
I sat by the window and began to read the book.
This one was much more to my liking than the others.
...
As time passed, the girl that I gave the book to, was still there.
Sitting by the window, reading the book.
I looked at the time and I had to go home.
I don't want to come off as rude or anything, but it was getting late.
I take a breath then speak, "Umm.. excuse me? I'm sorry to bother you while you're reading, it's just that it's getting late, and I need to head home. I'm the only one left working here and I need to lock up."
I say, putting my backpack on while picking up my puppy.
"Oh, that's quite alright, is it alright if I take the book with me?"
She asks.
"Yeah, of course, just bring it back when you're done reading it."
I say, opening the door.
As we both walk out, she says, "Nadine, that's a lovely name."
She had probably seen my name inside the book.
"Thank you. What's your name?"
I ask curiously.
"Florence, my name is Florence."
She greets herself.
"Well, it's lovely meeting you, Florence. Will you be coming by the library tomorrow?"
I ask yet another question.
"I most certainly will if you are open tomorrow!"
She says, excitedly.
"Alright, goodnight. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Goodnight."
With that we both went our separate ways.

(Key word = try, mainly because I don't know how busy I'll be with school and stuff.)
Also, I'm sorry the style of writing is crappy! It looked much better on google docs! :(
