In this universe, there are many type of wishes.
Wishes that seem almost impossible to get.
Wishes for selfish desires that could hurt other people
Wishes that harm yourself while saving somebody else.
Slacker life.
Or one may say,
Being a slacker.
Cale Henituse, formerly known as Kim Rok Soo, hoped to become a slacker.
It was a wish he thought that wouldn't cost him anything huge.
"I will be responsible for this."
Zed Crossman, he was responsible for the task on hand.
"I will make sure to hunt those rats down."
Zed crossman, had promised to hunt the hunter down. To keep his people safe.
"Leave it to me."
Zed Crossman, looked sure of himself when he spoke such words.
So, Cale did that. He along with his groups started to enjoy bits of life that didn't lead to explosion... for war!, fights or blood getting spilled.
It seemed like things were fine.
Cale Henituse, who never put his guard down. Finally kept his guard down.
And oh how he regretted it.
He shouldn't have let somebody else to the work.
He shouldn't have depended on somebody else.
Siting on top of a mountain of bloody corps. He brought three small cold bodies near him.
The unexpected war was over.
Their side had won.
The few ran to another dimension, but it was over now.
Cale Henituse could finally have his slacker life.
At what cost?
Tears streamed down Cales eyes as he pulled the children close to his chest.
He was begging.
He was begging the gods to give them back.
Give him back his family.
He doesn't need his slacker life. He doesn't need it anymore.
If he knew that praying for slacker life only meant for such outcome. He would have never asked for it.
That night.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
A loud scream was heard.
A scream of the last man standing in that world.
A scream of a mortal who ascended as a divine being.
The God of mystery.
A very fearful god to be exact.
Why?
Because the source of his powers and the limitations for his powers were a mystery. Nobody knows how strong he could get.
It was all just a mystery.
"Child.."
Cale didn't reply. He didn't want to reply. He kept pulling his family close to him as he cried.
It wasn't tears of sorrow that left his body. The tears denoted his emotions.
As soon as the tears stoped.
