The News

"OMG you guys will never believe the news I just got." Taylor announced as she barged into the sound room.
"Tay Tay, you just interrupted a recoding." I sighed. "But what is it?"
"Who cares if she did, it's important." Noelle chuckled.
"Well Omar, we just got an invitation to play in the Playlist Battle of the Bands." The drummer grinned.
My jaw hit the floor. "Really?! Like the one that's part of the PIMF?" I know it's mean of me to sound shocked, but I had no idea Different Dance is well that good.
"Mhmmmmm, the Playlist International Music Festival." The black girl replied, snapping her fingers.
"I'm feeling weakkkk." My vision went blurry.
"Bloody hell, he's going to faint." Remarked Alfie. "Omar, lie down."
"Thanks but I'm fi-."
Plop.
My head hit the floor and I passed out.
"Someone should have caught him." Taylor shook her head, looking over at Alfie.
"Oi, I'm not that strong." The guitarist shot back.
"Can one of you just go get a cold facecloth to help wake Omar up." The singer said, putting my head in her lap.
"Okay Noelle." Replied Alfie with his thick British accent.
"OMAR RAPHAEL GET YOUR ARABIC ASS UP." Yelled the drummer.
"That's not going to help much." Chuckled the singer, as she put the cloth on my forehead. "Hey Omar?"
"Yeah." I woke up and blinked to get my eyesight back to normal. "Did I faint?"
"From shock, yes." Noelle laughed.
"Oh uhh that happens uhh a lot." I chuckled a little, my cheeks turning red. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "I'm good now."
"Great now we can email the organizing committee back and accept." Alfie smiled, getting the MacBook.
I logged into my hotmail, wrote a reply and sent it.
"Yay we're going ." Said Taylor as she did a strange happy dance.
"We are." Noelle smiled.
I grinned and went back out to the soundboard. "Okay team. Let's get back to practice."
"We are Different Dance, one two three four!" The black girls' sticks hit the drums and my band started playing.
