You had been watching Kenma click away at his switch for hours now. Playing the same games he always did. You admired how he never tired of them.
You'd lay in his lap and watch him play. Hoping when he finally lost he'd show you some attention.
He hadn't lost yet and he'd been playing literally all day.
so when you saw...
'YOU DIED' 'GAME OVER'
Written across the screen you couldn't help but smile.
"What's so funny huh?"
He questions you with an agitated voice.
"Oh nothing Kenma. Maybe since you lost we can do something together now!" A smile plastered across your face as you hoped he'd like your idea.
"What do you have in mind babe?"
He actually wanted to know what YOU wanted to do??? This was new to you. Kenma was a very loving boyfriend but he always had his attention you know where, so when he showed interest in what you wanted to do you were overfilled with joy.
"I was thinking we could go get some snacks and come back and watch a movie or something. We could do like a scary movie marathon!"
He sensed how excited you were and it also made him excited. He loved the big smile you had on your face while you rambled on about things the two of you could do.
"That sounds perfect babe. Get dressed okay?"
You leaped up and rummaged your closet for something to put on since whenever the two of you were alone you wore only underwear and a t-shirt. You found some sweatpants and Kenmas Nekoma team hoodie to put on. You followed close behind Kenma almost stepping on his ankles as you walked.
He didn't scold you since he knew how eager you were to spend time with him. He found it cute.
"I've already got so many movie ideas in mind!"
"Oh yeah? Lemme hear 'em."
You get excited and lost off tons of movies for the both of you to cuddle too later. He feels warm listening to the excitement in your voice as you go on and on again.
You get to the store and you hold his hand as you walk in. 7/11 had the best snacks ever. You grabbed your favorite chips and fruity flavored soda. Tons of candy and even some of the hot food they had to offer. Like pizza and those tiny little tacos. Kenma grabbed a soda as well and a few other things. He didn't go quite as crazy as you did. You just couldn't hold in your excitement.
"You gonna eat all that bub?" He smiles at you almost laughing. He thinks you're the cutest fucking thing ever.
Your arms full of snacks. "We're gonna eat all of it!" You say excitedly as you put your snacks on the counter and grab your wallet.
"Put that away", he slaps your hand playful and grabs his own wallet.
"Babe I got it. I got most of the snacks", you protest.
"That'll be $18.79", the cashier interrupted the little feud. Before you could grab your money Kenma hands them a 20 dollar bill. He smiles to the cashier as he walked out of the door and you sneer at him.
"Kenma I said I could pay."
"Yea but I wanted too." He stuck his tongue out at you in a playful manner. You messed his hair and laughed.
On the way home you went on and on about how excited you were to see watch the movies. He even pitched in to the convo a bit.
You guys arrived at home and went inside. Immediately running to your bedroom to get the movies ready. Kenma follows behind you slowly making sure to lock the front door.
When he finally gets upstairs he sees you had taken off the sweatpants. So you were sitting in your underwear and his hoodie alone. The sight of you sitting there so cutely in his hoodie made him a little excited.
His eyes averted to the spot you tapped three times as a gesture for him to come sit next to you. He walks over slowly trying to avoid your cute body.
He makes himself comfy and snuggles into your arms.
"We're starting with coraline!"
"Babe that's not a scary movie", Kenma retorted.
"Yea but it fits the theme",you argue. This was your way of getting Kenma to finally watch it with you.
As you watch the movie you guys munch down on your snacks. His hands rubbing against your thigh kept him interested and awake. He was solely thinking of one thing. He was enjoying the one on one time with you but he also missed your body. Sooo so much.
He suppressed his feelings so he wouldn't disturb you. He loved how much fun you were having spending time with him.
He would look up at you every once and a while and observe your facial expressions. You'd go from smiling. To laughing. To a still face. Sometimes you even recited the words from the movie.
Kenma realized that he needed to spend more actual time with you. You'd tell him all the time you loved the times where you'd sit and watch him play his games, but he knew you always craved more. He was happy to give it to you once he actually tried.
He looked up at you again and saw your eyes halfway shut. You had only eaten half a bag of chips and like two gummy worms. He put the snacks away and tucked you in. He didn't even think about getting on his game.
He laid next to you and put on another movie. He placed little kisses on your face as you slept. A few on your lips and more on your cheeks. He watched you. Infatuated with the way your chest rose and fell as you took soft breaths.
