The two spend the night at the police station, having to wait till morning for questioning. (Y/n) stared at the ceiling, a million thoughts crossing her mind due the events that happened that night, yet none seemed logical. Humans weren't experienced enough to make something that advanced, yet alien's didn't seem possible, it couldn't be possible. A snore coming from the cell next to her startled (y/n) from her thoughts. Sam had fallen asleep the second his head hit the pillow, adrenaline of earlier had run out. A groan escaped the young female's mouth, from both annoyance and exhaustion, yet her mind wouldn't allow her to rest as it continued to find some kind of logic behind it all.
"Your father is here, wake up." A clearly tired voice announced, startling the twins awake. (Y/n) looked around her, confused as to why she was in a cell until last night events came back to her. She didn't remember when she fell asleep, surprising herself by the fact that she slept through Sam's snoring. Sitting up stretching her back makes a satisfying popping sound, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, especially after a full night of cycling and running after your escaping car. The sound of a cell unlocking brought her back to the real world. The officer gave her a nasty glare, clearly annoyed that he was the person to question the teens, this early in the morning. He broke their gaze, moving over to Sam's cell. The brunette glaring at the officer with every step he took. "Well, hurry up lass." (Y/n) raised an eyebrow before standing up from the pathetic thing called a bed. The officer unlocked Sam's cell, making the teen stand up with haste and walk over to the gate with a fast pace. The officer eyed him weirdly as he walked past him and grabbed (Y/n)'s hand, pulling her with him. Sam looked back at the officer. "Which way?"
"Look, I can't be any clearer than how crystal clear I am being." Ron looked at his two kids with worry, especially after hearing the story they came up with, or so he assumed. The officer behind the two moved, clearly annoyed by the scenario the two came up with. "It just stood up?" The bearded man questioned, again. (Y/n) nodded as both Sam and her repeated after him. "It just stood up." "Wow. That's really neat." He reached behind him, grabbing something out of the twins' sight. "Okay kids, time to fill 'em up. And no drippy drippy." (Y/n) raised an eyebrow as her twin just stared dumbfounded at the yellow lidded cup and paper towel the officer handed them. "What are you two rolling, Whippets, Goofballs. A little wowie sauce with the boys." "No, I'm not on any drugs." "No, we don't. We choose life." (Y/n) mumbled gesturing at Ron. The officer behind the twins threw his colleague a little bottle, making (Y/n) groan internally. "What's these? Found it in your pocket. 'Mojo.'" He gestured to Sam, before reading the label on the pills. "Is that what the kids are doing now, a little bit of Mojo." Ron shook his head. "Those are my dog's pain pills." "You know, a Chihuahua. A little-" "A big rat, just more high class and sensi- ow!" Sam elbowed his rambling sister in her side, earning a well deserved glare, however he had already turned his gaze back to the officer. He leaned back, rubbing a hand over his face, done with questioning the Witwicky teens. He caught Sam's gaze, unfortunately for him. He moved his jacket, giving the twins a clear view of his gun. "What was that, you eyeballing my piece, 50 cent?" He questioned Sam, pointing at it before slowly leaning closer to the boy. Only stopping when he was close to his face. "You wanna go? Make something happen. Do it." Sam averted his gaze from the gun to the face close to him, however switched quickly from time to time. "Cause I promise you I will bust you up." (Y/n) raised an eyebrow." Where the hell did this man get the audaci-." Her thoughts got cut off by Sam locking eyes with the officer, getting a bit closer himself. "Are you on drugs?" A mixture of a snort and a laugh escaped her throat, making her turn red as she covered her mouth, failing to hide her giggles. The officer, whose name they never got, leaned back, glaring at Sam. "Alright fill 'em up." He gestured to the cups. Ron glanced at both his kids. "I can guarantee you, officer they've never do-." Officer didn't listen to him though, he just narrowed his glare at the chuckling boy and 'Dying from laughter' girl. "Now."
Some time passed before the two were allowed to leave the station. Ron didn't utter a word to the twins after they stepped outside, clearly angry at the two. The twins got the hint and walked behind the man quietly, following him to his car. Sam turned to his sister after they stepped in and closed the doors. "Did you know that I'm bitter and complicated, it's one of my charms." He grinned, seeing the small smile form on his sister's face. "I don't know if you know what that word means. Or how to count." He placed a hand over his heart acting to be hurt. "You're growing up so quickly, I taught you well."(Y/n) laughed, shaking her head. "Nah, dad taught me right." Without smiling, she somehow managed to look serious a second later, shocking Sam in the slightest. "Are you sure you're not on drugs?" He rolled his eyes, dropping his hand as he mimicked his sister's look. "We had a bonding moment." Ron, who had stepped in a little later, looked in the rear mirror, watching his daughter shake her head. "Nope, it didn't happen, and stop rolling your eyes, we both know you have nothing up there to see." Sam's mouth fell open, staring at his little sister with disbelief. Ron however was laughing. "Not nice (y/n)." He managed to wheeze out, while he was trying to regain his breathing. "Okay, I see how it is. You're picking your favorite's side." Sam said, shaking his head as he crossed his arms, getting a look from Ron as he finally managed to stop laughing. "I don't have favorites, I love you both just as much." The twins shared a look. "Right, like mom loves us both the most, just Sam a bit more. " The man opened his mouth to speak but shook his head before starting the car.
