Chapter 11 - The Play

It was finally d-day and the play is just started. The characters were dressed like in the movie. Aehyeon as Princess Jasmine was wearing a beautiful dress that the color was in the middle shade of blue and green. Leo was only wearing a challeco for the top and baggy pants in the first part. And all of the casts were barefoot.

Aehyeon was patiently waiting at the back stage because it wasn't her turn yet so instead, she listened to Leo who was currently performing on stage with their club-mate Jungmo as the Genie.

''So what'll it gonna be, Master?'' The genie said.

''You're gonna grant me any three wishes I want?'' Leo, I mean Aladdin asked. Aehyeon smiled. Leo is doing well, they don't have to worry. At the mention of 'wishes', her thoughts drifted to her and Leo's set up that he has to grant her 10 wishes. To be honest, she already lost count on how many wishes she already used, and how many is the remaining.

''Ah almost. There are a few provisos. A couple of quid pro quos.'' The genie replied. ''Like?'' Aladdin asked again.

Of course, everything has a limit. Even a powerful genie's powers.

''Ah, rule #1: I can't kill anybody so don't ask. Rule #2: I can't make anyone fall in love with anyone else. Rule #3: I can't bring people back from the dead. It's not a pretty picture, I don't like doing it! Other than that, you got it!'' Aehyeon chanted the dialogue with the genie as it was one of the story's highlights.

''So 3 wishes. I want them to be good. What would you wish for?'' Aladdin asked the genie for suggestions. And oh, who wouldn't feel bad for the genie in this part.

''Freedom.'' The genie responded. This scene, they kind of cut some part because they tried to trim the whole script to make it easier for the actors.

''Let's get real here. It's not gonna happen.''

''Why not?'' Aladdin question confused. Yeah, why not?

''The only way I get outta here is if my master wishes me out.'' Then it hit Aehyeon. Was 10 wishes too much? Does Leo wants to be free too? She hung her head low and stared at the ground, thinking for who knows how long. She came back to reality when they called for her because her stage is next.

So far, the play went smoothly. Then comes the most anticipated scene. The lights dimmed, the music starts playing.

Take you wonder by wonder

Over sideways and under on a magic carpet ride

A whole new world

A new fantastic point of view

Leo started as he and Aehyeon looked into each other's eyes while sitting on a carpet, they used special effects like smoke to pretend that they were flying.
