[~~)George(~~]

I was on a late night call  with my best friends Karl and Quackity. And, well Bad. There hadn't been much job openings around the UK, especially one I need. I don't have much skills, unless you call playing minecraft one.

"All of you are no help! I need a good apartment, one not so... ran down."

Bad sighed, "Look George, there isn't enough around my city. I'm sorry."

I ran my hand through my soft hair, "It's alright. Wait, here's a good one! It's in Florida!" I clicked on the link and saw the low ratings. Damn it. Okay, okay, it's only two stars, but it looks hopeful! I skimmed through the pictures of the house, it was beautiful. "Okay guys, this isn't an apartment, it's a house!"

Karl finally spoke, "Show us!" I smiled as I clicked share screen on Discord. This place was a little ran down, but it was amazing. It was a large Victorian house, with lots of open yard space.

"It's not too bad!" Bad spoke cheerily. Quackity took a moment to respond, "George.. you really should rethink this one. There are multiple claims of it being a hot paranormal spot."

I rolled my eyes, "Alex, I thought you of all people would be a skeptic! As long as this 'ghost' is willing to share the house, I'm all for it."

Karl hummed, "Alright... but where is it at?"

I looked at the location and decided to Google Maps it. "It's right outside of Ranboo Florida!"

"Never heard of that place." Quackity stated saltily. I was persistent of buying this house, I am not sure why, but it had such a gravitational pull to me. "It's a small town by the looks of it... Guys, I think I want this house."

I said the words in a firm tone, signalling to them, that there is no talking me out of this.

Bad interuppted the deaf silence, "Okay. As long as we get to visit you!"

"Of course!" I laughed happily, "I shall host whatever you Americans call a 'house warming' ."

Soon enough, when I clicked purchase, big bold letters appeared on my screen, "SOLD!" I smiled to myself and bid my friends goodbye. I purchased my plane ticket, trying to memorize the address to my new residency. I then went to bed with a smile.
