Lost in Your Eyes, Baby (Auralescent x Fem! Reader)

Your college shift has ended, so you went to the local café to study and do the research that you need for your own thesis. You chose a seat next to the window to see a good view that will help you be motivated and concentrate on your thesis. 

"The deadlines are almost coming here..." You sighed, as you take out your phone and notebook. You open your phone and connected it to the café's free Wi-Fi, and started to search what you need to search and jotted it down on your notebook. The waitress went near your seat, and began to ask for your order. "One cup of creamy coffee, with whipped cream, and a slice of your chocolate cake, please."

After that, she leaves the side of your seat to get your order to the cashier after taking note of it, while your eyes look towards the café's glass to see a familiar face walking gloomily, in the colorful street. 

'Matthew?' You thought to yourself, as you recognize that it was your friend who was popular in YouTube for his ASMR videos. You know this, for you are also a fan of him yourself, as well had a small attraction him because of his voice. 'I haven't have seen him, ever since this I started college this year.'

The gloomy man, went inside the café, and then took a seat at a table, far away from yours. This worried you a lot, but tried to ignore it and concentrate on your research. 

The man looked around the café, and he seemed to have recognize something, you, as he stands up and then walks towards to tap your shoulder. "Hey, (Name). I'm glad that I can see you here." 

He forced a smile, on his depressed face. You sensed that something was wrong. "Hey, uhh... Matt. Come and sit in front of me." 

He does as you say. You were relieved that he still has remembered you. Then you happily go back on your research. "So... (Name)... I see that you're busy, doing your school work."

"Well, it's almost the deadline, and I'm almost done with it. I'm quite proud about my work myself." He smiles a small smile, this time it was something that came to him naturally. "Well, good for -"

His lines were interrupted by the waitress, as she places the coffee and the cake slice on your table. You smiled at her as she hands out the receipt, and you handed out the cash. The waitress turns to him, then winks at him, and giggles as she walks away. You the start to sip on your coffee. "What was it you were saying, Matt?" 

"Well, I was just congratulating you, on your dream. But here I am... I don't even make videos anymore." You almost spat your coffee out of your mouth with what he said. It was also a long time when you've listened to one of his ASMR videos, so you quickly checked on YouTube to see if he was telling the truth, and sadly, he was. The last time he posted, was a very long time ago, and it made you sad to know. "Matt, is something wrong?" 

As your eyes focused on him, you see his he was looking down, and seemed to be that he was disappointed at himself. He then quickly jumped out of his seat, and then ran out of the café. You were confused, yet devastated. "Matt.... What happened?"
