SCREECH~ SCREECH~

ROAR~

"Damn it..!" Cale Henituse was flung aside when the large Wyvern's paw knocked him in the stomach. He was sent flying, landing on the wall with a loud thud, debris falling down on his face and body.

'Didn't know flying was that refreshing. It's my first time.'

He spat a chunk of blood, he then tried to stand up using his wobbly legs while roughly wiping the red stains on his lips.

"That Wyvern's son of a bitch..! You have guts to scrape my handsome face?" He shouted annoyingly at the back of the flying Wyverns who's now attacking the Castle walls.

"What, you're still alive?"

Cale Henituse's mood turn sour. He grimace while in search of that irritating voice who spoke.

He spotted Choi Han.

His eyes turn sharp and he send daggers to the black raven who's smirking at him while summoning his black aura that's raging uncontrollably. The imperfect darkness is making Choi Han annoyed while fighting the Helmeted Knight earlier but he hid it.

Choi Han clicked his tongue, the redhead didn't notice this.

Cale was about to snark at him when he caught sight of the ravenette's condition. His smile stretches wide, enough to reach the sky.

"Bitch please, mind looking at the mirror?" He mockingly said, lowly laughing, enjoying the view.

'Heh, acting disappointed that I'm still alive when his condition is much worse. I'm the one who should be shock that you're still alive.'

Figures. He watch the battle between the two, Cale himself admitted that if it's him, he'll also have a hard time fighting the helmeted bastard.

Choi Han is limping on his feet, muddled and injured, visibly struggling attacking the flying creatures in the sky. This is his first time witnessing the Hero's disheveled and dirty state-- as Choi Han is always clean and executing everything effortlessly as if he's just taking a walk.

"No need. I have no time to look at my handsome face. We're in the middle of war, for god's sake." Choi Han smirks. The fucking nerve of this guy.

"Narcissist Bastard."

"Right back at ya." And with that, Choi Han rushed forward with the help of Rosalyn's flight magic.

Cale Henituse makes face.

"Geez, that guy. I really can't stand him."

He then check if he can freely move now before he grab the sword that slipped on his hands when he was garnered earlier. He stared at his cold sword, inspecting thoroughly if it's not dented, as this was gifted to him years ago by someone precious to him. He grasps the hilt tightly.

He shouts.

"Rosalyn!"

"On it!" The redhead mage respond quickly.

The sudden movement of the mage makes her sunset-like bright red hair fluttered. Hands preoccupied while mouth is working to constantly casts a different spell to attack and assist at the same time.

Rosalyn sends a flight magic on his way. Red colored mana threads reaching his location before he float, then was sent flying. He readied his sword emitting a faint glow of aura, signaling that he'll reach the Swordmaster level in a matter of time.

Choi Han sends him an approval look disguised under the look of disgruntled face. Cale Henituse just lets his tongue out, mockingly. He had the sudden urge of wanting to raise his middle finger but hold himself, that's far too offensive. Not that he cares tho.

He passed by Choi Han who already knocked down some of the Wyverns. He furrowed his eyebrows while attacking the nearby wyverns, feeling the wounds on his stomach opening while gushing a lots of bloods. He grimace in pain, eyes narrowing to the forest in the distance, hands busily slashing the flying creatures. Eyes searching for someone that might be lurking around somewhere to help him.

With one more look, he closed his shaking pupils before focusing to the war happening Infront of him. This matters comes first, priority later.

'Hyung..'

Alberu Crossman can feel himself stressing out. His usually smiling lips turned in a grim line, fisted fist turning cold white while he watches their disadvantage battle happening on the side of the communication device.

"Y-Your Highness.." He heard the trembling, panicky voice of the second son of the Count Henituse, Basen.

'Yes, i know.' He uttered onto his mind.

Because he, too, is feeling restless.

He's feeling itchy, to do something, to help.

Seeing their Kingdom's subject trying to hold on subduing the enemies, which is not obviously turning in their favor, is making him fidgety and hopeless.

"Young Master Basen, I've already send a couple of mages and the Knight Brigade as the reinforcement. They're on their way." He calm his shaking heart as he apply the calmness through his voice.

He's the Crown Prince, he's trying to prove his capabilities to reign the Kingdom through this war. He needs to stay rational, to be calm and to stay logical. He's the center of this force, with the four Heroes in the vanguard.

The Black Swordmaster, Choi Han.

The Highest Grade Mage, Rosalyn.

The Wolf King, Lock.

The Highest Grade Swordman, Cale Henituse.

All strong and powerful in their respective field of expertise. Who have a different piece of story, background and status. These four, generally recognized as the The Four Hero, have chosen to throw their safety away just participate in this war while taking the frontline.

While these four do their thing, the Crown Prince need to do his things as well.

The second son of Henituse County, Basen Henituse, firm his hold to the communication device showing the blond Crown Prince. He tightly hold the device to hide his shaking hands.

His location is stationed in the room full of communication devices near the Castle Walls. He's at the highest spot, with the big widen window clearly taking in all view of the ongoing battle.

Basen can't stand seeing all the Bear Tribe in their berserk form scattered all over their territory wrecking havoc. Their opponent is obviously their beastman, Wolf Lock. The 13 years old tall boy, is in his dangerous and skin tingling berserk mode. Baring his fangs with sharp claws out while biting their neck or ripping their body's apart.

Basen is certainly not used to this bloody and madness scene, however, he wonder why he didn't even vomit nor faint?

He moved his eyes. This time, his brownish pupils spotted the black ravenette and redhead duo.

'Ah'

Basen gasp silently. He was hit by his sudden realization.

He now knows. He now knows why despite all this gruesome scene not befitting of his 15 years old eyes he didn't even vomit or faint yet.

His stepbrother. His Hyung-nim, Cale Henituse.

His Hyung-nim is in the battlefield himself. The sight of his bloodied and injured brother is the sign enough for him to faint.
