As i run up the stairs to get my stuff i try to plan out what i am gonna say to Amber i don't know how i will be able to break to her, though now that i think about it I'm kinda glad it will be Amber that will know first Kristina would probably post it all over face book twitter and whatever other accounts she has. Julie would be the hardest to tell since we have known each other so long. The guys... would probably make stupid joke about the whole thing being the dumb asses they are.
Amber's reaction would be the best i think we have not known each other all that long and we wern't the closest out of the group all though swimming has made up have a big bond still i dont think she will start bawling over me leaving.
I rehearse what I'm gonna say to her one last time as i grab my swim bag and head out to the sports center, which is luckily only five minutes away.

The smell of chlorine and a blast of heat hit me as i open up the door to the pool.
There was no one left in the change room when i got in. I was kinda glad. I didn't want to face Amber all that much.
But now as i open the door to the pool any relief and calmness that i have leaves me and i frantically start biting my nails.
Amber spots me and waves. I force a smile and shake my hand in a weak attempt of a wave. She isn't in my lane so i wont have to face her until end of practice.jj
I walk over to my lane and put down my stuff i glance at the board which tells us our warm up, in total we have 800 meters. No sweat.
I take a dive into the pool.
