Hello, my dear,

The past few days of this month have been frightfully cold, and the poor sweaters you crafted for me have been torn and frayed from work. I hope you are doing well my love. I am writing to you because business has been painfully slow, and I miss seeing you. I'm sorry we can't see each other as much as we want to. I promise you though, I am doing this for us, and one day, we will leave this town and live in harmony together with our future kids in the house of our dreams. I'm sorry my letters have been shorter than usual; I've been feeling a little under the weather lately and you know what the cold weather does to my fragile body. I hope to see you soon Ramona.

mon amour, ma chère,

-Etta.

Etta sighed as she set her pen down on the wooden table. The last few days had been hard for her, she was uncontrollably tired at random parts of the day with no explanation. Yet at the same time, it was almost like she knew why. She had this thought, this wonder in the back of her mind that ached to be heard, but she brushed it off, thinking that maybe her brain just poured out all the worst things imaginable.

At least, that's what she desired.
