Love Hurts

***Olivia's POV***

"Olivia Finn. It's a pleasure to meet you m'am."

The police officer in front of me checked me out not so discretely. I folded my arms across my chest and kept a stoic expression. Taking a deep breath I thought back to the advice Steph gave me before the interrogation. "Don't act guilty because you have nothing to be guilty for. And never smile or else you won't be taken seriously." She had said the same thing to Brittany and Taylor. I however, was more nervous than a small town girl at American Idol auditions.

"Hi Officer..?"

"Dean. You can just call me Dean."

There was a flirtatious twist in his voice. It was calming and intimidating at the same time.

"So Ms Finn, what can you tell me about the recent actions of Toby

?"

He made full on eye contact with me and I felt my palms start to sweat.

"There's nothing to tell. I wasn't involved in Toby's plot and I don't know his motives. Sorry officer- I mean Dean."

I fought back a nervous smile and kept my serious stare intact. "Really? Is that all? I thought this would be fast but wow Olivia! Record breaking time!" He said sarcastically. I fidgeted in my metal. chair, a bit uncomfortable.

"Anything else you'd like to add?" Dean moved directly in front of me. I could feel my heart beating faster.

"N-no." I stuttered, without breaking a sweat. He started to smirk and shook his head. "I figured a smart girl like you would know something...guess I was wrong." He walked to the door and motioned for me to leave. I dashed out the room faster than I should have and found myself alone in the dimly lit corridor. Where'd the girls go? Where's the other officer? I was all by myself in an unfamiliar place. Just me. Better get used to this.
