PROLOGUE

It was night in the city, and when night darkness is always nearby, but the darkness of night could not be seen as city lights concealed it and the others that lingered in the sky

A light that concealed the stars and the moon, was that really a light?

These were the many questions that ran in my head.

Tanoshi sighed weakly, his skin growing pale. How pitiful was he that he was to die at the age of 24? The age where he should be in college? Developing a relationship with someone? Not that pitiful really, many people die, some in worse ways,

His death wasn't going to be that important to others.

Other than the questions that would pop up in his head, the most frequent one going through his mind was when he was going to die

He wanted to get this over with, a slow death was not to his liking.

Before the thought of dying scared him, now he is dying yet he's not scared but annoyed...and in pain

The more he thinks about death makes him annoyed, and being crowded by onlookers only made this annoyance grow

'Stop looking at me and go enjoy the life you have left!'

His sights were focused on the crowd who wasn't in any physical pain, a small bit of jealousy formed in his heart.

His state of being wasn't getting any better, breathing growing rapidly by the second, line of sight blurred.

And his skin growing deadly pale

The effects of dying were starting to take place and it was obvious he wasn't going to live unless the ambulance appeared soon. The bystanders seemed to notice this too.

A man started shouting "When that ambulance gon be here! The man's gon die! We got doctors out here?"

This made the original silent rambling even louder, more people started clicking numbers on the phone.

A woman covered their child's face to prevent them from seeing such a sight

Which caused Tanoshi to feel slightly embarrassed, he wanted to dig a hole and never come out!

He silently cried as it seemed like his wish would be coming true soon enough.

Looking back on his life to get maybe the last chance of nostalgia he thought about his family

Remembering when his mother would say random quotes she made about life, even going as far to write poems about it

If he had to admit, he never understood his mother's words, he never understood complex quotes or complex quotes

His mother said a lot of things, some would say she was crazy, some would say she was wise...these thoughts sure did get his mind off how he was dying but he was now starting to miss his mom.

She was probably working late again like usual.

Thinking his day couldn't get any worse

the ground shook an unexpected pressure pressing on it,
