I'm awake, love.

Let me take this moment to explain it to you all. I was about to have a date with you last August. Papunta ako noon sa bahay niyo. I was about to tell something, which is really important. Ngunit umatake na naman ang sakit ko. You know that I have complications with my brain, right? That's when I was comatosed for two months.

Fast forward October 1 at exactly 12:00, the day I woke up. Doc said na isang miraglo na nagising pa 'ko. Most patients with brain complications would just sleep forever and die on their beds. But I survived. That's when I started using my phone and doon na nga nagsabi ng kung ano-anong excuse si mom. Para lang mapagtakpan ako.

They're bad at lying right?

I started reading all of your messages. Gumamit ako ng isang app para lang 'di mahuli na binabasa ko lahat. Kasabwat ko nga pala si Vance. My phone lagged so much, because of the messages. But I'm not complaining. Nagpapasalamat ako, sobra sobra.

I'll never get tired of replying to all of your messages, ever since the day I got comatosed. I know it must've been hard for you. I read it all. Mula sa pagrreview mo, sa pag-aalaga kay Sean, your breakdowns, sa pagbisita mo sa akin, and everything. Mom told me everything.

How is Khafka doing na pala? Pusang 'yun talaga. What did you name her kittens? 

I didn't want to keep it a secret from you. I just wanted to surprise you. Every Saturday, I would lay down at the ICU. Starting from 9 am, pretending that I was still on coma. Hindi ko naman akalaing mapapaniwala ka sa "palabas" namin.

I just wanted to say that I'm so proud of you. For being the strongest, kahit malayo ako sa'yo at nakahilata sa kama. You waited for me.

This message isn't enough to match what you've done. Wala ako noong mga panahong malungkot at masaya ka. Wala ako sa tabi mo. I was at the hospital's ICU, in a battle, between life and death.

Lumaban ako. Did I do well? Haha, kidding. I will now keep my promise. Okay? Hindi ka na muling malulungkot, nandito na 'ko. Wala man sa tabi mo ngayon, ngunit patuloy na mananatili sa'yo.
