Trishika's P.O.V:
-''Oye aalsi uthja, kitna soyegiii?"
A familiar voice spoke, interrupting my oh so sweet deep slumber.-"Ughhh.."
An irritated slow groan escaped my mouth.I turned and tossed around my bed, not caring much about the voice and tried to sleep again.
-"Uthjaa BHAIII! Khud mujhe bulake yaha ghode bech ke so rahi hai, kuttiya.''
The voice spoke again.Uh, what the actual fuck? Who got the audacity to address me like that? I guess, I'm just dreaming. No one dares to call Trishika Bhardwaj such names. No one holds that ability to talk to the business tycoon's one and only, oh so precious daughter in that manner.
-"This is too much to handle now. Aunty! Just give me a bucket full of cold water, Trish will be up soon..."
The voice spoke yet again.Okay, this was alot now. Someone is definitely upto something this morning. I guess they want some special treatment from the guards.
Irritated; I opened my eyes in frustration and looked at the source of that voice.
Oh, Ritvik!
He still exists.
-"Rocky tu!!"
I said in astonishment.-"Nhi mera bhoot hai, aur bol?''
He replied back in sarcasm.-"Haha, dude cracked a joke. I have to laugh."
I said as a comeback.-"You forgot you were the one who called me, right?"
-''No, maa did."
I said innocently, as if what he said wasn't true.-"Acha? She wasn't the one forcing me and being after my life when she was the one who needed rest. And for that reason, she was in Lucknow for a break."
Ritvik replied sarcastically yet again, pointing out that I forced him to come to Lucknow, when I myself was struggling and fighting my own battles. No doubt, he was right. But I couldn't help. He's like my own brother to me and I can never risk his life, no matter how much I'm struggling myself.
Well, he was finally here! Thank God, or that Aditi would have killed him already. He definitely wasn't at all safe back in Delhi all alone.
So, it went like this. When him and I first had that phone call, we were thinking about excuses for him to make as to why would he be here, at my house. But then we all got the news of my brother's marriage.
Yes, my very own and only medic brother, Dr. Aakash Bhardwaj, or "Aafat" as I like to call him because he's the reason why I'm pursuing medicine as a career, was getting married this new year with the "love of his life" as he calls his soon-to-be wife, fiancé and moreover his second best friend, because I'm the first one, Dr. Sejal Sharma.
So maa-papa themselves called Ritvik a week early, inviting him to their precious son's wedding. Ultimately, it was natural for him to be here and as it is, he got a nice reason for his visit to Lucknow, which by the way, is also his homeland.
