This is my first ever attempt for the OpenNovellacontest, and while I don't usually enjoy competitions that much, I will be joining this one. Wish me luck, folks; I'm in dangerous territory here.
Here lie the prompts I have picked for my entry:
Prompt 5 - A soldier always has two choices when at crossroads: to follow orders or to abort the mission.
Prompt 18 - There was something inside me that wouldn't stop until the whole world was blood.
Prompt 65 - We live in fear of ghosts--but what if ghosts live in fear of us?
Prompt 96 - "Was this a game to you?"
Bear with me, there were some slight changes made, but I think that leeway was permitted in the rules. Overall, those are the prompts.
I hope you enjoy the journey Dawn sets out on, and you forgive me if her tale is anything less than she deserves. I'll try my best.
