ZERO-ONE. accidentally red"Did you happen to accidentally dye your hair too?" The principals voice is laced with annoyance as he speaks to Hee-su.
The young girl and her best friend sat in the teachers office, Coach Kang and Ms. Park crowding them along with the head of the school.
Hee-su's legs were cold against the chair they made her sit on, skirt draping all about her legs. They had made her take off her leather jacket before that, deeming it unfit with the rules, only barely managing to wrap their mind around the bright color on her hair.
"Yes." She answers. "I don't know what happened, sir! One second, my hair was black, you know? And the next? Red!"
"This isn't funny, Hee-su." Ms. Park scolds the rowdy girl from her class.
"I know it's not! It's a real epidemic, huh, Gi?" The young girl turns to her friend whose head of hair was also dyed the bright red color.
"It really is. Someone call KBS cause there's a dye bandit out there." Hee-su has to bite on her bottom lip to control her laughter, which only earns her a glare from Coach.
"This isn't funny. There are rules in place for a reason."
"Mister," Hee-su groans, "it's not like my hair will distract the students."
"Yes it can! And it has!"
"Well my mom can't pick me up." The girl shrugs. "She's working."
"Mine is too." Gi-hun agrees.
"Then I guess we'll have to dye your hair back."
"You won't touch my hair." It's almost comical how they believe she'd let herself get touched by them.
"I'm calling your mother now. You're going to be suspended."
"Can we get back to class?" Hee-su picks up her backpack from beside her. "Just call me back when you reach her."
Ms. Park lets out an annoyed sigh as she nods her head, letting the giggling pair leave the room. Taking ahold of Gi-hun's hand, the two of them rush to their class.
