I grone before I went to grab a chair, putting it close to the big window in this recording room to start taping up papers to cover to it all up, I step on the chair and got started, Not long till I started to struggle on putting some tape on the paper.

"Want me to help?" Nam-ra asked, I looked at her— Her face merely displaying any concern, I mentally rolled my eyes.

Although I have pride, I still couldn't put down her offer— Considering that everybody is busy trying to close the view on this window due to the urge to go for number two.

"I could use one" I replied, Scratching the side of my left eyebrow.

She stayed silent for a moment before walking up close to me "Then give me the tape, I'll pass you some so it would be easier for you to put them on the paper" She instructs, Looking at the window behind me while she spoke, I gave the tape to her before I faced my back on her.

Without any words exchange— We both teamed up to fully cover up the window, Soon enough we all wrapped it up, Hearing sighs of exhaustion from everyone around, I hopped off the chair and clap my hands.

"Great job" I said to them, I turned to look at my side to see her gaze fixed on our finished product, I frowned a bit, I wasn't really aware of how long I was staring at her when of all people— Her eyes fell onto me, Moments before giving me a puzzled look, I turned to avoid her.

"Okay, the privacy is done... but the toilet?" Dae-su asked, Giving us all worried looks.

Cheong-san and the boy with glasses glared at him "It's almost done, hold yourself for a little longer" Cheong-san urged.

I chuckle at the three of them and went back to my seat, I sat and heaved a sigh.

"Do you always sleep?" She asked, I was startled, Didn't know that I had shut my eyes for a bit, She sat down next to me— For the second time, My heart thumping in an unexplainable reason.

"No, I'm just exhausted that's all" I shook my head, Giving her a short answer and she hummed, The silence was unbearable for me, I didn't know what to do with said thumping of my heart, I also have no idea on how we're gonna lift off this awkward mist between me and her, We stayed like this for a few minutes before she spoke up.

"About what we talked about earlier—"

"Should we always be like this—"

We both were cut off from our sentences, We stayed quiet, Hoping for the other to start up again.

But neither did anything.

I bit the inside of my cheek, Couldn't handle this awkwardness further, I was about to speak up when she beats me to it.

"Get some sleep" She said before standing up and walking towards Sue-hyeok, Sitting down besides him, I felt slightly hurt that she left me hanging again, It was obvious that she had something hidden that she doesn't want to discuss with me anytime soon, And the fact that she chose to be beside Sue-hyeok— It annoys me in some way, I rolled my eyes before sulking in a corner.

IN THE MORNING:

The sun peak through the curtains and I felt a warm feeling on my face, I slowly opened my eyes— Adjusting from the glaring light followed by a grone, I look around the small room we're all in and sigh, Seeing as nothing had change from what was left last night, Everyone was still asleep.

My eyes fell upon the sleeping girl beside Su-hyeok, When she's awake, I couldn't read her— Now that she's asleep, She looks like she's in peace, As though everything around her isn't happening, I tore my eyes away from her, Cause if I wont then I might drown in an ocean of my feelings.

For a while the others started to stir awake, Filling up the once quiet surrounding with sighs and yawns.

"Good morning everyone" I said quietly— not wanting the others that is still sleeping to get interrupted from their sweet slumber.

"Good morning to you too Y/N" dae-su said a little too loud causing me to cringe from his tone, Now everyone is starting to wake up because of his doing, I looked to see if Nam-ra was woken up from Dae-su's gretting— And in fact she is wide awake, Staring at her hands on her lap.

I couldn't help but find her... Cute.

Cheong-san quickly went to look out the window and On-jo followed suit with him— Looking out to see if our awaited rescue had finally come.

"They aren't coming, We should've known. We need to make a plan to escape, We cannot depend or even put our hopes on them any longer... It's no use" Cheong-san said while he turns around to see our faces, He voice was laced with disappointment while he disclosed those words with us.

I also couldn't help but feel scared, Even I cannot fathom if we'd ever come out of here alive, My hopes with this is as narrow as the hole of a needle.

"Alright, We need to use a drone to see if there is anyone still alive out there so they could be rescue by us, Maybe make our group larger— The science lab, there's drones there, We need to go there" I said.

"Yea but we need a phone so we could get help" The boy with glasses added.

Something in me snaps, I was scared and wasn't really hopeful on the success of our escape and now he tells me that?

"Oh do you think they would come? No one even bothered to save us— And answers our pleading when we should've been the one they rescue first" I replied to him, clearly frustrated.
