You were pacing around the room.

"Calm down (Name), I'm sure they're fine, they're already at the right age to travel on their own" Damon, your ex-partner, tried calming you down "Are you not worried?!?!? You're their father!!" you yelled at him in which he replied with silence.

"You already know I do not deserve to be called their father" Damon replied "sigh, sorry, I'm just getting so worried, we three agreed that they'll come home to visit me at least after a few worlds" you apologized "It's fine, did you try using the Monitorium?" Damon asked.

The Monitorium was a device that lets parents watch over their kids while they travel different worlds.

"I already did but the Monitorium displayed a black screen with the words child not found on it" you could feel yourself panic even more "That's really strange, I never heard the Monitorium fail to track down a child before" Damon mumbled "Let's go over to Hector, maybe he'll know what is happening to the Monitorium" Damon suggested,

"This is really the first time I've seen this" Hector said as he looked at the black screen in front of him "Give me a second, I'll look over some books, maybe this has happened before" Hector excused himself out of the room, leaving you and Damon alone.

"I'm really sorry about our past (Name), I should've ended it sooner but I couldn't leave you all alone with 2 children" Damon spoke after a few seconds of silence "It's fine, if I was in your place I'm sure I would've done the same, but I am glad you still thought about my well-being even after you found out that I am not the right one for you" you smiled to yourself.

After that, no one spoke. Eventually, Hector came back a few minutes later.

"I'm back! I got some good and bad news" he said, setting down a book on the table "First, good news, I've found something that kind of relates to your situation, bad news, it's not...... good" Hector began "3 centuries ago this has happened before, a parent said that their Monitorium could not locate their child, after a few months of searching they finally found the reason on why the Monitorium couldn't find her child, the child had.......passed away cause of an accident through traveling...." Hector continued.

You could feel anger rise inside you, as a mother you could not accept to hear that your children might've died. 'The only way I could prove this wrong is by finding my children! Lumine......Aether......wait for Papa, would you?.....'

You stood up from your seat and barged out of the room into your house. You started packing all the things you need into your space inventory, you got interrupted when Damon entered the room and tried to stop you "Let me go, Damon! I need to go find Aether and Lumine!!" you yelled at him "You're just gonna get yourself in trouble!" he said while trying to grab your things away from your reach "I don't care!! They are more important, they do not know much things like I do!!!" you reasoned.

You used your powers to push Damon out of the room and lock the door. You could hear him banging on the door and shouting your name, trying to convince you not to go. 'I'm sorry Damon but I need to prove that stupid book, Hector and you that my children are not gone, I won't allow that' you thought before creating a portal and walking in.
