Chapter 10: I'm sorry

Amy was running all around the city. She couldn't stand the heartbreaking pain she was going through. By the time she finished running, it was 11:00pm. She saw a blue figure walking all by himself.

"SONIC!" Amy cried.

Sonic turned around was about to look at Amy but he couldn't see because Amy covered his eyes by hugging him.

"Oh Sonic...... I'm so sorry for leaving you like that. Thats not what a friend does, even if you did hurt my feelings. Can you please forgive me?" She continued.

"........... Amy........" Sonic said.

"....Yeah..." Amy replied.

"...... I'm sorry too.... And I except your apology...... Do you forgive mine?" Sonic asked.

"Yes....thank you...." Amy replied.

They looked into eachothers eyes and stared.

"You were right......... Sally did cheat on you..... And I know who she did it with...." Amy said.

"Really?...... Who?" Sonic asked.

"My ex-boyfriend..... Scourge...... After talking to you, I went home. And when I entered, I heard noises. It was scourge and Sally. They were talking about how pathetic we are. I kicked them out of my house. And..... Yeah, thats it." Amy explained.

"Oh.....I see..... Now I know for sure.....that Sally has no interest in me what-so-ever!..... Oh I wish I never had an interest in her!" Sonic replied.

"I know, same here...." Amy replied.

"Can I ask...... How did you even meet Scourge in the first place?" Sonic asked.

"I met him a few months ago, some of his friends were making fun of me.... Then Scourge came up to them and stopped them. Then after that, he walked me home and introduced himself to me. Then we got got to know each other and hang out... Then we started dating...." Amy replied.

"And what about you? How did you meet Sally? .....I mean..... Her highness...." Amy asked.

"Well... It was the day I met you and saved you from METAL SONIC... I was hungry and I went to a restaurant. Then I sat next to Sally. She flirted with me and started to introduce herself. We ate together and started to know eachother on THAT day. Then, out of the blur, SHE asked me out. I said.... Yes... And I just met her....then she told me to walk her home... And I did." Sonic replied.

"Oh..." Amy said.

"Well, I better get going, see you later Amy" Sonic said.

"Bye Sonniku!" Amy replied.

"Sonniku?" Sonic asked.

"Your new nickname!" Amy replied.

"Bye Ames.." Sonic said.

"Bye." Amy replied.

They walked back home.
