"Lola?" Josh calls out.
"Yeah?"
"We need somewhere to stay, we can't just keep sleeping on the jungle floor. All sorts of things could get to us, tarantulas, snakes..."
"Okay, okay I get it," I shiver at the thought of spiders running all over my body, "We'll need to make some sort of home I guess."
"A treehouse!" Josh is excited now, "We could make a treehouse! Dad made one for us at home so it can't be that hard can it? I'll find a good tree!"
"Are you sure it won't be too much of a struggle?" I say. This would take a lot of effort.
"Nah, it'll be a piece of cake."
I scoff at Josh's comment and watch him hunt for a tree.

"Lola, come here!" Josh shouts, excitement evident in his voice.
"Coming!" I shout. Before I could get up, paws bat at my shoulder and a sharp pain stings at my back.
"Ow! Don't do that you naughty boy!" As I glare at the lion cub that scratched me, my face fades into a smile. How could I be mad at this adorable piece of fur?!
I picked up the cub and hauled him onto my back and he dug his claws in, gripping on. He was really heavy even though he was only the size of a small dog.
I make my way over to where Jack is shouting and see that he has shinned his way up a tree and is pointing at the branches.
"Here look, these branches are perfect. They are sturdy and just the right distance apart to hold other branches on top to make the floor."
I wasn't sure about this but we needed a home and soon.
I know this is a short chapter and I haven't updated in a while but here is the 3rd chapter.
