Dying Light 2: After Aiden.

Road to Villedor.

At a bridge, Jake sits down on a broken car, opens his journal and begins to write.
"15 years....my best guess is that this is Year 2036. I've been told that Spike's gone to Villedor, for some reason Aiden could be there too, I should meet up with him tomorrow morning. If I knew where Villedor was...then, I'd need a map."
*Closes Journal after writing*

As Jake begins walking, he was looking for shelter before he could continue by his Journey, with a pack of supplies on his bag and a modified staple gun that fires on auto and had seven small cases of staples incase if night falls.

Afternoon, 12 Noon.
As he ventures the road, he scavenges an old radio and an Antizin box on a GRE Crate, he finds an old house in the woods and packs his stuff along with his axe on his way to the woods.

3:29 P.M.
Jake goes into the woods and encounters a group of zombies, he arms himself with the Modified Staple Gun and shoots the zombies one by one before cutting off the head of the last one.

Jake stops by the end of the woods and finds a Survivor armed with a Shotgun.

Jake stopped after seeing the Survivor pointing a gun at him, but Jake showed up no signs of hostility, he only asked for shelter.

5:47 P.M.
While inside the house, Jake tells everything of what his new task is, and his next move.

Survivor: Villedor, huh? You're also looking for a map?

Jake: Yeah, I saw this house when I was walking at the bridge on the road to Villedor. But I can't seem to find out where I really am.

Survivor: No worries, you're near. See that Radio Tower? There, you'll find a city by using these binoculars. Take it.

Jake: Thanks, I should go---

The Survivor cut him off and said:

Survivor: No, no. It's night, Volatiles might find you. It's best that you should rest for now.

Jake sighed and was literally tired, but he had to take rest.

Jake: Fine, is there a bed here?

Survivor: Yeah. Up there. Oh, and if you're planning bring me with you on your journey, I'd be happy to help. I've got nothing else to do here anyways.

Jake: Alright, thanks a lot.

Jake goes up the second floor and opens the door leading to his quarters. He sits down at his bed and opens his Journal before going to sleep.

"It's night time, the zombies are out there... searching for anyone who dares to fight them. For now, my plan is to rest. I've got a new guy coming with me for my journey, when I find Aiden...I hope I'd talk to him this time. 3 Years Earlier, I was just a Pilgrim with my pack, a low ranked Pilgrim. One day, we were being chased by the zombies. We were lost. I couldn't find them, and then...I saw him. Aiden Caldwell.

I called out to him, just to help me. But this was the part I realized that my pack couldn't find me already. We had a saying: "Those who are lost, finds their way to look for us on one place."

I don't know if this was a thing...but for now I think.

Now...when I was making my way out of the old towns, I saw Spike. He told me that he was going somewhere, and I needed to know. I had a feeling that's where Aiden was. Me and Aiden used to talk a lot back then, we had each other as a team for 3 months until we finally decided to part ways. It was time.

But now, I might have my chance to see him again."

Jake closes his journal and goes to sleep. He begins dreaming about his pack, his friends and Aiden.
