My eyes were glued to the person behind the glassed walls, it was Tohka.

But not the one I have ever known, she was the kind of girl who always wanted to eat delicious food, always had a naive mindset and go on regular dates with Shido.

But resting in front of me was a suffering woman who could draw her last breath at any moment, someone who is dangling between life and death.

I turned back and forth towards the three faces, understanding and gathering any reasonable explanation.

"Shido...... Kotori......When did this......I thought she was recovering with Yoshino as you said......when did she......what happened to her?"

I could already see a strain on Kotori's face, she took a heavy breath and walked her way towards the door.

My eyes fell on Shido, even though I could estimate this not his first time here, he was more concerned about her than I was.

Kotori used the touch panel beside the glass sliding door to open it using her secretive password, eye scan and fingerprint.

The machine, recognising her identity welcomed her by opening the door.

"Commander Itsuka. Registered. Visitor section time. Allowed. Temporarily Disabling all Realizers, please be cautious."

As the mechanical door slides open, all the cold mist inside the room touched our feet like shore waves.

Even before both of us, Shido rushes into the room and straight upholds Tohka's hand.

"Shido, be patient-"

"Tohka! Come on, Wake up! It's me, Shido! I came here for you, please open your eyes."

I could notice the tears which Shido was trying to hold back, firmly pressed his hand to aware her.

Few slight movements were visible on her hand and legs, followed by a weak yawn of stress and detection.

Tohka tried to react with her usual charm, but her energy was so low that she quickly passed out and fell in his embrace.

I and Kotori went emotional over the scene, she pinched her shirt in regret.
