Scared to move, scared to breathe.
I need you standing here with me.
Don't turn and walk away.
I have so much more I need to say.
A kiss is sweet.
But what lies are beneath?
So afraid of goodbye.
Fear is here but love is to.
A hug that'll do.
To take the fear away from me.
So now it's only you I see.
Scents that make me fall so deep.
Around you is where I keep.
My heart is yours.
And I hope you never close those doors.
This is short but not all poems are long. I wrote this for the man I love and wish to spend my life with.
