After your last exam of the semester, you and your bestie Sooha from the time of kindergarten decided to have a sleep over. Usually, Sooha, 9/10 times crashes over at your place owing to all the fights she has with her older brother Jungkook.

According to Sooha, Jungkook is a demon in disguise. He wouldn't let her be peaceful. And thanks to him living in the dorm of his college that now Sooha has peace in life.

I had my stuff all packed up and as soon as we were out of the institutional building, I held Sooha's hand and made a beeline to where my car was parked. The chauffeur had been waiting the whole time for me to finish my exam so he could drop us both at the Jeon residence.

As we got into the car we kept discussing about random things like food, dance, music and Sooha's brother who wouldn't be at home so there is all the peace of the world. Sometimes I do feel that Sooha might be over exaggerating because I've met Jungkook oppa, on rare occasions but he has always come of as a gentleman but then again after listening to all the tales from Sooha like the one time he chopped her hair while she was sleeping, gifted her a frog on her birthday, forced and blackmailed to help with assignment and the countless times he asked her to serve him with food or water etc. Makes me laugh tbh.

Finally we reached Jeon residence and just as we were entering, Mr and Mrs Jeon were waiting outside. I greeted them "Hello Mr Jeon. Hello Mrs Jeon."
I was pulled into a tight hug by Mrs Jeon.
"Welcome sweetheart. It's so good to see you again. How did your exams go? "
Typical Asian parent! "Likewise, really glad to see you again. And my exam was good, though there were quite some difficult questions."
Sooha then asked "Mom, why are you guys outside? were you waiting for us"

Mrs Jeon laughed and answered "Sure we were waiting for you but no we are leaving for Grandma's house. There seems to be some problem with the electricity and plumbing over there, we'll be back by dinner time though" As if on que their car came over and both of them rushed away to Grandma Jeon's place.

Sooha and I entered the house and rushed to the kitchen. Mrs Jeon, the sweet lady always has good in her kitchen and it's so delicious. Just as we filled our tummies and changed into comfortable clothes and were preparing to watch movies together we heard someone ringing the bell. Sooha ran towards the door while yelling "Y/N select a movie while I deal with the intruderrrrr!!!" Haha, Sooha and her sense of humor.

Just as I heard the lock of the door opening I heard a shrill shout. That was Sooha. What the heck? I ran to check on her and I found her sitting on the ground holding her head while a tall guy in bikers jacket and helmet was hanging the keys. My mouth was agape. I was scared shitless because we were just two 16 year olds against this unknown guy who could harm us. Worse we had no way to contact anyone to help us. Millions of thoughts crossed my head. Should I scream? Or will it trigger the damn intruder. Which robber was shameless enough to hang his keys and just then I saw Sooha tackling the guy down and I heard him chuckle. Sooha sat on him and punched his ribs twice yelling "You're such a jerk! Why are you here". He winced but laughed loudly and incoherently said "aahhh you piglet, get off me that tickles" and he just pushed her off him. I was confused. And soon my confusion was cleared when he removed the helmet. That was Jungkook, Sooha's brother. Holy hell, my heart did a somersault at the way he looked.

He helped Sooha up and ever so gently asked if it hurts. Grumpy Sooha just brushed him off and stormed towards me and hid me behind her.

"Listen here oppa, this is my best friend Y/N. I don't know if you remember her but please behave. I don't know what rotten things mom ate before giving birth to you, you devil." Jungkook just chuckled and I swear his chuckle felt like warm chocolate on a cold winter.
