The two of them turned on the TV.
Chloe: What do you want to watch?
Zoey: Nothing scary.
As soon as the words left Zoey's mouth, she wished she could take them back.
Chloe: Awwww, what's wong? Awe you scawed?
Zoey got defensive.
Zoey: N-No! I can watch scary things.
Chloe: So, let's watch one.
Zoey: Ok.
So they picked "IT," a horror movie by Stephen King.
Zoey: This isn't that scar- AHHHHHHHH!
That was the part where a little boy named, "Georgie" got his arm ripped off by a clown named, "Pennywise."
Zoey: AHHHHHHHHHHHH! OMG OMG OMG! HE GOT HIS ARM RIPPED OFF!
Chloe: AWESOME!
Zoey hid under the covers.
Zoey: TURN IT OFF! TURN IT OFF!
Chloe: Ok, Ok. Calm down.
Zoey grabbed Chloe. Chloe chuckled.
Chloe: Let's go to sleep.
Zoey: Ok.
Going to sleep was a bad move. Zoey had a terrible nightmare. She had dropped her wallet in a sewer. She reached to get but her arm got grabbed.
Zoey: AHHHHH! CHLOE! HELP ME!
Chloe: WHAT? WHAT'S WRONG?!?!
Chloe had woken up from Zoey's nightmare.
Zoey: AHHHHHH!
Chloe grabbed Zoey and shook her.
Chloe: ZOEY! ZOEY! WAKE UP!
Zoey finally woke up.
Zoey: Wh-what? But- Phew. It was a nightmare.
Chloe sighed.
Chloe: Don't scare me like that. I thought you were hurt.
Zoey chuckled.
Zoey: Now who's scared?
Chloe smiled.
Chloe: Sorry for making you watch that movie.
Zoey: It's ok. Let's just go back to sleep.
So they snuggled in close to each other. Chloe stroked Zoey's hair.
Chloe: I love you.
Zoey: I love you, too.
