YASH'S POV
"Sakshi?", call her.
She hmms in response not looking up at she keeps drawing her dress design.
"Are you comfortable with me and my family?", I ask her.
She drops her pencil down and finally looks up at me.
"I am at first I was nervous but accordingly I became comfortable and Anika bhabhi and Arshi bhabhi are helping a lot", she says.
" Are you sure?", I ask her.
"Yes I am everyone is so nice. I never had friends but now I feel like I have ever since that dinner night. It felt great to know I could also have friends. I never feel left out or ignored they all try to include me in conversations", she tells me.
"And that day I wanted to cook something for everyone but Ma and Chachi caught me and didn't allow me to enter the kitchen they both said that until I do not deliver the baby I am not allowed to do any work.", she says.
"So yes, I am very much comfortable and happy and don't worry about it", she says and smiles at me. I smile back at her.
I was glad she was comfortable with everyone. I was happy too everyone accepted her too.
"What do you think about working?", I ask before she goes back to her work.
"I can?", She asks me. Her tone is nervous.
" yes, of course, you can is that even a question? For working you don't need my permission or anyone else permission", I say.
She smiles at me again.
"Thank you I never really thought I can ever work. It was like a dream for me as you know my parents and in-laws never allowed me to work", she says.
"So when are you planning to start work?", I ask
" After delivery not now but even after the delivery I will wait for 1 year before starting to work", she says.
"Won't it be too late?", I ask.
" It is but at the first year of the baby I wanna be close to him/her. Just like Anika bhabhi and Arshi bhabhi are doing right now", she says.
"They both are working from home too you don't know?", I ask her.
"No, they haven't told me that", she says.
" Then after you find a job you can ask them if you can work from home", I say.
"I will ask Rohan and Rishi about your job you know they have their own company right?", I say.
" I don't want a free job Mr Malhotra", she says.
"But then it wouldn't be hard to find one job", I say.
" No Yash you don't have to do that I wanna give an interview first then I want to be selected after they see my work first," she says.
"At least let me ask Rohan or Rishi to schedule an interview for you", I say.
" No, don't tell them I will give an interview at his company if they both will know I have an interview knowing both of them they will try to give me the job easily so don't", She says.
I sigh I will never win with her on this argument.
"As you say, Mrs Malhotra", I say and smile at her she smiles back.
She thanks me again and goes back to her work. I go back to working on my laptop too.
