Chapter 8

The principal and the girl from the closet were behind the door I can't be surprised if she is the one who called the principal
"Mr Mendes and Ms McMiles in my office now" he screamed and that seemed to get attention from some students and I sighed walking behind the principal and Nicolas behind us I knew this was going to go straight to my dad which I hated.....

"Care to explain why you were in the junior's closet"the principal asked looking at me as we reached his office and I answered him saying

"We went there to talk nothing too wrong Sir" That sounded bad

"That doesn't sound convincing right Nicolas?"he asked him and he nodded and I snapped my head in his direction
Is this niggah tryna die?Oh My God He's signing our death certificate God......The principal immediately looked at me
"So what went down"he asked and Nicolas open his mouth saying

"Well we were gossiping about his brother and that's when you came when we were done and then because I have the worst reputation ever you thought the worse just like everyone"I wanted to laugh really hard but.....wait a minute how does he know about my brother? I never told anyone I turned to look at him and he was giving me the 'I know' kind of look then the principal cleared his throat

"You know what happen when you're caught in the janitor's closet right?"he asked and I nod while this dumbass just shook his head
"I'm going to forgive you now because Tasha has a clean record but not because Nicolas does" he sighed
"You're dismissed" he said and Nicolas stood up without even thanking him while for me I stood up and thanked him then when I reached outside I sighed

"What about my brother Nicolas?" I asked too afraid he might know

"I have eyes and my eyes work pretty well which is why I know that guy that we fought in the hallway is your brother, what's his name again .....Ric...yeah R....."before he could finish I quickly placed my hand on his lips to stop him from saying it because there were some people who were passing by and the dumbass licked my hand

"Eww that's disgusting"I said clean my hand over my jeans and he laughed "I have germs dummy"I said to make him feel bad but he didn't instead he became serious

"Why do you keep it a secret tho and I'm pretty sure that diy isn't really healthy for you hair" he stated....he looked cute when he was curious like a lost puppy

"What class do you have now?" I asked and he groaned rolling his eyes

"Don't do that.."he said looking me up and down

"Do what answer me"I kept forcing him to change the topic which he gladly did

"History"he said looking at me

"Good Let's go " I said walking ahead
"And ......this doesn't make us friends Mendes" I said still walking ,I don't know why I didn't hate the fact that Nicolas knew about my brother, but someone had to know .....I guess
I heard him mumbling

"You wish" And I smiled a little

Later that day I was sitting in the library when River sat next to me and I looked everywhere to find it was empty
"What is it ?"I asked as I continued reading my book

"Where were you on Friday Tas" I rolled my eyes but still looked in my book not answering him
"Tasha I'm asking you" he raised his voice snatching my book from me and slamming it on the table I flinching I sighed as I leaned in my chair and looked at him I hated it when he raised his voice at me he always did this when he was pushed in his ass by his friends soccer players in general so he ain't going to pull this shit on me

"Look Riv I don't have anything to explain to you, in fact right now I'm not your sister I'm just some random girl who schools with you .... So if you could give me some peace of mind and leave me alone that could be so relieving and.... the day you'll choose to take me as I am ... I mean your sister that's the day I will act like it.... So if you don't mind me .....piss off" I said calmly leaning back into my chair, I know I was being rude but I wasn't buying that shit right now

I grabbed my book and went back to reading
"Tas....."I cut him off by raising my hand

"Please Riv leave"I said and he stood up to leave but he left a paper on the table that said I'm sorry Tasha and I sighed and when I looked ahead I flinched looking at an expressionless Nicolas and I sighed again this guy can be creepy sometimes
Nicolas was wearing a black hoodie and if you looked closely you did see he had earplugs on and his eyes were red as if he was sick

"Are you spying on me?"I asked but he ignored that

"You still don't wanna tell me why you and your brother don't show off together?"he asked and I sighed

"Are you sick?" I asked back and he rolled his eyes

"No....sneeze....I'm not....sneeze....sick" I took out a napkin and handed it to him I liked the way he doesn't push me to tell him about my brother
"Oh God ....I hate this shit"he said looking up as he cleaned his nose why did God let him be this gorgeous sighing I continued reading

"Why aren't in class again?" I asked looking still in my book

"You know ......no one ever cared if I was in class or not but since you asked" he sighed looking down and continued
"I hate chemistry.... So I don't have any reason to be in that old man's class"he said and sneezed again
"Fucking hell"

"You know you curse way too much"I said looking at him this time and he looked me in the eye and leaned closer his nose was pale pink how cute

"I don't get how people don't see that you guys are twins"he said and my eyes widen

"Can you stop analyzing too much ......God"he smirked and said

"I won't be surprised if this is because he want to hit hard on the basketball ground" he said and he leaned back after seeing how surprised I was and the library started to fill in meaning it was time to go home

"See you tomorrow Nicolas" I said as I packed up and left the library

The next day I told Lia everything expect for the part where Nicolas was slapped by his step Dad that would be so wrong

"So you mean Nicolas now know about your little secret with your brother?" She asked and I nod
"Holy notes ...... did you tell him"I shook my head

"Noooo of cause not ..... How can I do that Lia when you well know how Riv doesn't want that"

"If it's not you then Riv told him or does he have the power to see through people and we didn't know" she said and I laughed as we worked to class

I was walking to the PE class when my phone rang and picked it up it was dad

"Dad?" I asked

"Sweetheart imma be quick with this I'm in a hurry hope I'm not bothering you?"he asked already in hurry

"No Dad ofcourse not"

"So I will go straight to the point ....I will want you to go straight to the mall to get a dress and tell River to get something we've a ball to attend today at 7 okay sweetie?" He Said quickly that if I wasn't really caring much I wouldn't get anything

"Sure thing Dad"

"Have a good day sweetheart"he said hinging up and I went to the field ,quickly sending Riv a text telling him what dad said and that I had Dad's credit card with me

When I bumped in a chest I was starting to get familiar with and sighed this guy was starting to know a lot about me that not many people knew and a part of me didn't hate it
Sighing I looked at him and busted out laughing
"What happened to you?" Still laughing I asked
