Ch. 1 Get out my house jk

So we're jumping to this story and at this point I'm hoping for the best.

"GET UP PYRUINA AND SIRENO YALL ARE GOING TO MISS THE PLANE GET UUUUPPPP!"

Ladies and gentlemen that was the sound of my beautiful mother Lisa. A dysfunctional siren who's voice box mutated to come out like parrot screech sounds instead. Poor woman sounds like a projected Wheezy penguin from Toy Story and all her sisters ended up with Beyoncé voices. Then again they didn't win best hero couple of the year with their husbands now did they.

"Li, stop yelling it's too early!" My dad Ray was always the voice of reason, but that's what makes them work so beautifully.

My calm cool and collected father. His power? The man can catch sounds and literally make them projectiles. They are known as the black excellence of superheroes and I'm still unable to control my powers in the slightest.

"Rina you left your spare toothbrushes, how were you gonna brush your teeth? Using the same toothbrush for a whole semester? I didn't raise you to be dirty!! And are these the new socks! Don't leave these they have pink sheep on them!"

I looked down at my singed pillow case and sighed "Miami here we come".

At the airport:

"Sireno mind your sister okay? She needs you to put out those flames, Rina burn his butt when he gets out of line. I give you permission. No talking to strangers! Call me as soon as you land! You're going to be great! I love you!"

"Alright Li, let'em go they can't breathe."

"Sorry I'm just gonna miss my babies"

I looked at my mom with tears in my eyes. We aren't a dysfunctional family. On the contrary we have an amazing bond with our parents. Even my brother was crying and trust me it takes a lot for him to cry.

"Mama I love you and I love you too pops" he said.

My dad looked at us with tears filled eyes "Y'all go crush it out there."

I put my arm around my brother and gave him a nod. "Let's go bighead"

"Nah you the one with the big head that's why mama bust the hospital windows with you!"

I punched him in his arm and turned back and waved one last time at my parents. I was going to miss them soo soo much. They're amazing of course.

As I boarded with the last zone because we couldn't go with the third, like the lady was getting paid to be a zone monitor, anyway, I caught them smiling proudly and I realized this experience was going to be great. Miami was going to be great. This school was going to change our lives.

My fathers words were fresh in my mind, and I smiled big looking at my brother who smiled back... "You're gonna crush it!" Yeah dad, I sure am.

Well we would've crushed it with smiles instead of sadness if the entire airport didn't explode when our plane took off, but hey what's a good superhero story without some adversity or something.

End of chapter 1

What do y'all think please comment. I promise this won't be a death at every turn story but I have to make it realistic. I realized that I may need some more details in the next chapter so please comment and let me know how it's progressing so far!  Also we're you all surprised at the siblings bond? I kinda wrote it with my little brother in mind we're not super super close but we never ever argue and he's always there for me. Anywho see you in the next chapter
