It's a god damned blaze in the dark and you started it.

I opened my eyes to lots of noises and commotion from outside,I have a bad nausea and a shooting pain in my back, given the fact that I witnessed the facade with my own eyes and the screaming outside only tells that there was a lot of bloodshed. I lost the track of time, I don't even know for how long I have been unconscious. It could be a few hours because the sun was still out during the blood shed and now its pitch black I looked around the room, I was in the same room as earlier but now the only door to this room is open and then all I saw was darkness. All the noise subsided and now it felt like all the screaming was in my head. I looked out through the darkness coming from the door and in a moment it was replaced by a little blaze that probably came from a cigarette lighter.

Someone wass smoking outside because the smoke filled the room
in no time and now it was filling my lungs. I started coughing my lungs out.
No wonder I always hated cigarettes.
"Hello there! I guess I can't tolerate the smoke anymore so I would rather you smoke somewhere else. I don't feel quite well with all the nausea plus the smoke. Please find yourself another spot",I said loud enough addressing the smoker outside. I felt foot steps approaching and also the little cigarette blaze was getting closer. The lights were turned on and my eyes shut once when all the light got painful for my eyes.
Darkness was better,I guess-

After what looked like two minutes, I opened my eyes and the bed dipped beside me.
"Hey there! You don't follow orders, do you?You were not supposed to come out but you did and have you seen the mess you made out of yourself?"

My blood boiled at the mere sight of the Man and I don't think I ever hated someone so much  and with that all the anger and frustration that I was holding unleashed.
"Don't come closer and tell me why I'm here, what do you want?"

"A pretty little journalist, aren't you? We have a lot of talking to do but before that
We have a little gathering at the basement, clean yourself up and come join us," with that he got off from the bed and left the room.

I didn't want to go but I'm going, I wanna know who these people are and what the hell they wanna do with radhika and me. I locked myself in the washroom, I wanted to shower but I don't think I have anything in here that I can wear,so I simply settled for washing my face. That monster was right,I look miserable and weak, I look like a patient plus I haven't eaten all day.

When I was just ready to leave the room,a lady or rather a teenager was at the doorstep with a fruit basket.
"Hi! This is Leah", she went for a hand shake.
"Kritika",I returned the gesture.
"I'm sorry, I was given the charge of taking care of your needs - food and clothes but we lost quite a few people today and you completely got off my mind. I suppose you are hungry, have some fruit ", she handed me over the basket.
"Edward won't start until 10pm and so I guess we have a few minutes before that"

" Thank you so much! You have no idea how hungry I was",I said accepting the fruits. "Can you wait until I finish.I honestly have no idea where the basement is, you could take me with you,I guess", I said putting on a weak smile.
"Sure" she said and I invited her in.

"So who are you guys and why am I here?"

"I'm sorry, I'm not allowed to answer any of that.Finish eating and then we can leave.Edward doesn't like it when you're late ",she said pouring water over my plans but Edward doesn't like it when people are late and me...I'm going to be late,I smirked to myself .

"Leah, well in that case I think you should go because I might take some extra time.I'll find the basement myself".

"Well then, please yourselfl",she smirked and rushed out of the room.

I wanted to piss him off,I don't care if he gets angry and tries to hurt me with his gun,I can't just sit like a puppet and obey him.I'm gonna be late to whatever stupid gathering he was talking about.I might also get to know who these people are and what do they want from me.
