I got into my car and started driving to my house. I parked my car and got out of it and went into the house. I looked at the clock and it was 3:30 p.m. I wanted to be here with my daddy. I grabbed my phone and turned the tv on looking at the news.
"Today plane 662 had a crash coming back to California." The newsman said. he started saying the name of the people and showing pics. Then I heard my daddy name and a pic of him. My eyes widen. This has to be a joke? Right? I realized that it wasn't a joke and my eyes started feeling up with water. It felt like I lost a part of me.
I started screaming. Tears ran down my face. I just lost it I started balling up in a ball. I can't believe I lost the only thing that I had how live in California. I know I had August but my dad. No it has to be a dream. I really needed someone to cuddle with. I went outside and sat on the porch. I seen a Range Rover pulled into the yard.
"What's wrong baby?" August asked. I looked up and tears started running down my face. August looked at me and ran to me. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around him. I started letting out my tears on August shoulder.
"He's gone August." I said.
"Who's gone?" He asked.
"My dad! He died in a damn plane wreck!" I yelled at August.
"Damn! I'm sorry I didn't know." He said. He took me into the house and sat on the couch. I let all my tears flow on him and just cuddle me. This is why I love him.
"I love you August." I said.
"I love you too." He said and pecked my lips.
