Half Breeds is a fantasy, dystopian thriller set in over a hundred years in the future. Earth had since been colonized by Ferals (a categorization of vicious, blood-thirsty animals that strangely resemble the fantasy creatures of long-forgotten fairy tales.) When they revealed themselves, they also revealed their sick, unforgiving nature to kill.
After countless battles against the Ferals, humans gave in to their homeland and went into hiding. The remaining populations were siphoned into quarantine zones and left the poverty-ridden streets to perish under the wrath of the Ferals. The governed world was overrun by ruthless militias who ran black markets and human trades to the Ferals to keep them satisfied. Helpless humans were raped, tortured, and left to hang for all those who oppose the new world to refer to. This ravaged world was dying.
Litzy Mai is different from most who were left to rot in the streets of Neo Seattle. Born from a conniving witch and a tortured human father, she is what is known as a Half Breed - half human, half feral. After being left to die as an infant in an alley, she was found by a rebellion gang - the Saints - who took her in with open arms. Raised as a troubled army brat, she becomes an elite warrior - the perfect defense weapon. Her secret is hidden in plain sight; her immortality and ability to dissipate into an unkindness of ravens being only the beginning of her stellar combat strategy. But after running into a Feral she had never seen before, things turn sour.
She meets others like her in a coincidental play of fate when a trip in the subway turns into an epic battle that would end up in warfare. This special group is only the beginning. They're the only hope for this Hell on Earth, especially with more trouble afoot.
Delve into this adventure and prepare for humor, emotion, and thrills concocted into a special kind of novel.
