Ajey's P.O.V:
I was having such a great time roaming around the streets of Old Lucknow all by myself, alone, like the introvert that I am. But now it seems like I've to face people. I hate people, and my family knows it. Still, they are taking me to some random rich lady's home. Okay, that's not what I should call her.
She is Mrs. Gayatri, a really nice friend of my mother, like it seems. A lady who isn't really like those Indian aunties who poke their nose into everybody else's business. Infact, she's so sweet and humble that she earned my respect today.
She didn't bother to ask me or Yash about what were we doing in life or when were my parents getting us hooked, and giving those unwanted advices that mid-aged Indians usually love to give. Muft ka farzi gyaan, is what I call it.
Mrs. Gayatri Bhardwaj.
Bhardwaj. That surname is so familiar, you know.
All the while Maa and Gayatri aunty talked, Papa stayed silent. As if, he was too amused to say anything at that moment. There was also a moment when the two ladies shed some tears, but wholeheartedly.
And I saw Papa's widest possible smile. The last time I saw that smile was when I had hit 10 million subscribers on my YouTube channel. So ofcourse, visiting Gayatri aunty's home was a pretty big deal for both my parents.
When I asked Papa about Gayatri aunty's whereabouts, he smiled lightly and told that she was the wife of Mr. Akhil Bhardwaj, the owner and founder of Bhardwaj Enterprises - a well known business company across the country.
I know about it. The thing is, I barely do have knowledge about such things but if I do, then you know it is something gigantic.
This company; Bhardwaj Enterprises and the man's name, Akhil Bhardwaj ain't no ordinary ones. He's a multi-millionaire man and basically runs more than half this city. The malls, complexes, cinema halls, the big showrooms are all made by his men. I'm sure, the Bhardwajs spend money like it's just a piece of paper that holds no value to them.
Mr. Akhil Bhardwaj's wife, Mrs. Gayatri Bhardwaj plays a vital role in the smooth functioning of her husband's business empire. And I guess, that's the reason why she has no time to spend on useless activities. However, she's super sweet and humble and ofcourse, is extremely welcoming. No doubt, she invited my family to her house as if her son's wedding would be incomplete without our presence.
Talking about her son, Aakash Bhardwaj; he is a renowned doctor in the city who makes a hell lot of money and even runs a hospital of his own, Jagjeevan Hospital, which by the way, is also built by his father. So technically, dude is a doctor and a businessman at the same time. He's getting married to his long-term girlfriend and a practising colleague in this new year.
Other than their son, Mr. and Mrs. Bhardwaj also have a daughter. No, a loving daughter, as Papa told me, whose name he doesn't remember.
I assume that everyone in this family is of a kind, loving nature but I doubt if Mr. Akhil has the same one. I mean, he's a wealthy, rich person, man. Him being ruthless and arrogant towards us would be natural. And why wouldn't he be one, when he built the entire fucking empire on his own, with ofcourse, his wife by his side? I wouldn't be surprised if he would be ruthless, rude and not-so welcoming or kind.
