Is he in love with me

Ava's POV:
One night while we were watching romantic movies I got seated beside Chase in the small sofa he touched my thigh in the middle of the movie. So many questions flied trough my head. Is he in love with me? Isn't he dating Charli? Did they break up? Does he want to cheat on her with me. No. He can't, it was just a mistake. Or was it?

I couldn't stop thinking about it for the next few days but I had to. Every time we where gonna get to bed it was so weird between me and Chase. I don't know if it was because what happened that night or just because he hated me.

One night I was trying to sleep I saw a mushroom painting on the wall. Chase was still awake so I asked him:
-Do you also like mushrooms?
-Like would be an understatement, he answered.
-What is your favourite mushroom?
-Fly agaric, I like how it kinda looks like a chocolate chip cookie.
-Really? I think the exact same.

I didn't think it could happen but I actually didn't hate talking to Chase that night. He was really nice to me and we shared some interest. He wasn't half bad as I thought.

We continued talking for some night about all crazy stuff but nothing personal sense we didn't really care about each other.

( I'm really sorry this chapter is short, late and maybe not so creative but I've had a lot of school so I will try to do next chapter a little longer.)
