"What's wrong with the arcade?"

"Nothing but I didn't peg you for an arcade kind of person."

"Well are you ready?  They have pretty good pizza too." He smiles at me and reaches for my hand.  Blushing I take his hand and follow him inside where they seat us at a booth and we order cheese pizza and drinks.  "You are surprising me, that's for sure."

"How so?"
"I just never thought you'd be so nice when I first seen you."

He looks around quickly and then back to me, "Don't judge a book by it's cover?"  I smiled and took a sip of my drink as the waitress brings our pizza to the table.  "Here ya go and when you're done your bracelets will be at the ticket counter with your name on it."  She checks him out as I watch her and shake my head.  Just as she was about  to walk away he speaks, "Oh can you please grab my beautiful date a refill?  Since you didn't want to pay attention to your job."  She scoffs and shoots us a glare before walking away to do as he asked.  "Thank you.  I didn't think you'd notice that."

"Of course I would, you're my date aren't you?"  I blush and smile at him again earning a bright smile in return.  "So, what are your hobbies?"

"Well, I like to dance and my mother and I used to sing while my dad played guitar."

"Used to?"

"They passed away the end of last school year in a car crash."  I looked down at my hands and went quiet and he reaches over the table for my hand.  "I'm sorry but you are strong and they raised a very beautiful daughter."  I blush again and the waitress brings me my drink and walks away.  "You are a lot nicer than you seem."

"My parents always taught me to treat a woman the same way I would want someone to treat my sister."

"You must really love your sister.  She has a great brother from what I can tell."

"Thank you.  Now eat up and lets play."  I giggle softly and he smiles before grabbing a slice and we start eating.

We finish the whole pizza and our drinks then head to the ticket counter for our bracelets.  "That was really good pizza."

"It was refreshing being with a girl who doesn't care about fancy restaurants or having a salad."

"I like salad, but I also like fast food. Food is the way to my heart."  He laughs and reaches his hand out and I give him my wrist.  He places the pink bracelet on my wrist and I put a blue one on his.  "Ready?"

"Yes I am!"  I say with too much excitement and he laughs.  "Let's go."  I look over to him as we reach a skeeball machine.  "Now the real question is...are you ready for my master skills?"

"Oh yeah?  Show me what you got little one."

"I still can't believe you beat me at my own game."  I giggle as I carry my big plush white tiger.  "I told you I was a master."  He smiles and opens my door for me and gets in himself once I'm settled.  "Want to go home now?"

"We probably should.  We have school in the morning and it's already 10."

"Alrighty."  He drives me home and walks me to the door. "Thank you for tonight.  It was actually the best time I have had in awhile."  He smiles and leans in kissing my cheek softly. "I'm glad you had a great night.  I will see you in class in the morning."

"Bye."  I smile at him and he honks before pulling away and I walk up to my room with a huge smile on my face and change into my pj's.  How could tonight have gone any better.  I get a text and check my phone quickly.

ANTHONY: Goodnight skeeball master. (;

I giggle and message him back

ME: Goodnight master of the claws.

I jump into bed with my new stuffed animal and fall happily asleep.
