I will drown myself in music,
Let the notes wash me away in their waves.
For music takes me to places far away,
And drifts me to shores unknown.

There I explore the melody of the meadow,
The calm of the wind in the trees.
Life's tranquil music finds me
As I lie in the shade
Of the old oak in my dreams.

I let myself float
...on
...and on
...and on
Until the gentle lap of the song against my skin,
Lulls me to a painless sleep.
Beyond the confusion and doubt,

Free.
