Isabel's pov:

a few days later...

After a stay at Romanos house a few days ago I haven't seen or heard from him since I wonder if he's regretting it. I woke up this morning checking my phone for any texts from him but nothing i wonder if I should reach out?

I decided to reach out and send him a text.

Isabel: Hey, I haven't heard from you in a few days is everything okay?

I hit send and throw my phone on the bed and then head to the bathroom to wash my face and freshen up. as I was brushing my teeth I heard my phone ding and I basically ran to my phone to check it

Romano: Hey, sorry just been super busy.

That was the driest response ever what is wrong did I do something, does he not want to be with me?

Isabel: oh, ok well do you maybe want to go to dinner?

I hit send and sit there for what feels like forever after 2 mins it said read then I started seeing the three dots dancing meaning he's typing then the dots disappear and I am left on read.. What the fuck is he serious right now maybe I should go over and hash this out.. I don't care if it's psycho I'm going to hash this out with him.

I throw on a pair of jeans and a crop top and head out to my car and start driving to his house. Once I get there I see another car that I'd never seen before.. it could be anyone though right? I get out of the car and walk up to the front door and I wipe my clammy hands on my pants why am I so nervous?

I knocked on the door and wait for him to open it. Once he opened it and saw me he looked very surprised "uh Isabel what are you doing here?' he asked rubbing his neck "you've been acting weird and not texting me and when I asked if you wanted to get together you left me on read" I answered back.

"oh uh yeah I've been busy" he replied dryly

"doing what? do you not want to do this anymore?" I asked

before he could reply another female voice came from within the house "there you are handsome" she said walking up to him putting a hand on his bicep she then saw the shocked expression I was speechless was he cheating on me?

"oh hello are you the cutest" she said the condescending comment didn't go unnoticed.

"shut the fuck up Francesca" he growled

"excuse me.. and who the hell are you? Is this why you've been too busy for me Romano and why you haven't been texting me back was I just not good enough" I yelled at him

"So what you eat my pussy out and let me take care of your daughter as if she is mine and then this is how you treat me?" I say trying to hold back my tears not wanting them to see me cry.

"Isabel-" I cut him off before he can say anything

"no I don't want to hear it I don't know why I thought I was any different and why I thought you wouldn't do this to me guess I was wrong" "I hope yall are happy with each other" I said before running to my car not looking back even though I heard Romano chase after me yelling my name ignored him and drove away and once I left his driveway I let the tears flow like a waterfall.

I cried the whole way home and tried to call myself down once I got in the driveway but it didn't work so I decided to sneak into the house and avoid my parents. I walked to my room without bumping into my parent which was a relief.

Once I'm in my room I close my door and change then get into bed and let myself cry while I thought about what happened maybe I was overreacting I didn't even let him explain.. no I saw how she touched him I'm not blind. I decided to call my best friend Willow she'll cheer me up and give me advice.

I called her and waited for her to pick up "hey Isabel it's been a minute how are you?" she said all happy "hey willow I'm not doing good" I said on the verge of crying again "oh no what is wrong do you want me to come over?" she asked "yes if you wouldn't mind I really need a friend right now" I said "ok I'm on the way be there in 5" she said before hanging up.

While waiting for Willow I noticed all the missed calls from romano and texts

Romano: Isabel please answer it's not what it looked like.

Romano: please let me explain mi amore.

Romano: Don't make me come to your house.

Romano: OK fine I'm coming over.

my eyes widen at the last text.. oh shit that was sent 10 mins ago which means.. I hear a knock on the front door I rush downstairs hoping it's willow. I open the door and see Willow staring back at me with sadness on her face "hey babes are you ok" I sigh in relief "no something happened" I said as we walked to my room once we go in we sit on my bed and I tell her every single detail of what has happened "wow-" before she could finish there's another knock on the front door I look at willow and she looks at me "are you expecting someone this late?" she asked I then remembered Romano text "oh shit I think it's him" I say

"ill answer it" said Willow I nod and go downstairs.

Sorry for not updating I promise ill update more but I'm actually working on a new book!!

I'm so excited about it I honestly think it is my best book so far!!
