I stumbled away in horror as I see the man I thought I loved, stab Cassie in the stomach, watching her fall to the ground.

"CASSIE!"

He turns his head towards me, but I'm already running.

"Come here you bitch!"

I stop running. My breathing was out of control, and my heart throbs in my ears. I turn back my head to look at the man who murdered my friends, still running.

"Come on Y/N, can't fucking run forever!"

I gulped, and sped forward, making twists and turns thought the dark woods. I could no longer here the man behind me, but I didn't stop running. I've seen horror movies, and I'm not gonna be the dumb cliche bitch. My feet ached, I'm pretty sure my left foot is bleeding, but I didn't care.

After running for what seemed like forever, I slowed down, coming to a full stop near a giant oak tree. I put my hands on my knees as I tried to steady my breathing. Everything that happened finally set in.. where did I go wrong..??
