You are a civilian with a hero for a boyfriend, he wasn't one of the best but he treats you like a queen, he would take you on dates once every month at your favorite restaurant
this time it was different, he didn't answer your phone calls when he was about to pick you up, you know Saitama was a hero and duty always calls for him but you know he is strong, his apprentice genos always boasted about him and you would always listen to his stories about their training and enemies
you started to get worried, he always took care of himself and kept it that way after he asked you out, minutes later he appeared behind you with a car he borrowed from a close friend, "get in mon Cheri" you chuckled at his cheesy nicknames for you, for example, he called you his mon Soleil to his lune, you both recently watched a french movie before he took you out on a date
as you got in the car and started to fasten the seat belt Saitama held your hand and kissed it "I'm sorry I'm late, there was a traffic jam nearby" he said with an apologetic voice, you know you have a soft spot for this man when he went near you, ' it's fine dear now let's get going ' you said
he started driving towards an unfamiliar route, it was different from the ones you both take from your usual dates, ' dear where are we going? ' you asked in a curious voice, " only for myself to know " he wasn't a very secretive man so this was something new to you

walking near the receptionist, he asked for his reservation, " ah yes Mr. Saitama and I'm assuming this is ms y/n" the waiter said, he started to escort the both of you near the tables outside the building, the view was a sight to see, it wasnt some passing moment for you
The blue glaze Lillies that were blooming beside the lake reflecting the moonlight, you felt the chills as the night breeze hits you " here " Saitama said as he stood up from his chair and wrapped you around his coat, "thank you honey " you said in a comforting voice
You both started talking about how your week went, you talked about how hard your workload is being a secretary at a big company, he comforted you with reassuring words and offered a massage after dinner, you accepted it happily, of course, he wasn't the perfect man your parents were expecting but he was accepted and a miracle at that
a few moments later your food arrived, you both got steak, mashed potatoes, and Caesar Salad
the waited poured wine at both of your glasses and wished you both a happy evening
after eating you wiped your mouth with a napkin, he stood up and called a waiter to clean both your table, "mon Cheri would you care to follow me?" he asked, you stood up
he lead you to the back gardens near the lakeside, you were curious about how he knows where to go in this big of a place, he sat you down on a bench near the lake view, he started to kneel in front of you " you were on the verge of crying, what if this was a lie, your thought flooded you when he finally spoke, " Mon Cheri, from the moment I talked to you, I was frozen in place" he said as he took out a box from his back pocket, " you brought me light, I was the flower you were the butterfly, you could have picked another flower but you picked me" he continued, "I don't know what I have that you like, I may be poor but I still love you from the bottom of my heart, so y/n would you marry me! " he asked with desperate eyes, your tears burst from your eyes, they came out like fountains made of joy, " YES!! YES, I DO" you said crying on his shoulders " I-i" you started to choke on your own words, you don't know what's happening right now at this moment, you were the happiest person this moment, "I love you my moon," he said in your ear as he placed the ring on your finger
you both stood up and stared at the moon lake view, the Lillies and the moon who were witnesses to a once in a lifetime chance for you
