Cici skidded as he landed on the ground, now falling over on the blanket he was carrying. He got up, staggering slightly. "Ow- My knee-"
He seemed to be the first to the area, a grassy valley with flowers of blue, pink, and purple surrounding it. His eyes glistened in excitement, he wanted to make Leo and Arti happy. They would be here soon, he knew.
His fuse wagged in joy, his wings twitching a bit restlessly.
- Meanwhile -
Leo grasped Arti's hand, the two were on their way to the area Cici was at. Leo smiled gently to Arti, and, though his mask covered it, Arti smiled back. Cici smiled to the two, he saw them on the horizon. He ran to them, now beaming. "Flora gave me the idea- come on!" He ran off as Arti and Leo chased him. Leo collapsed on arrival at the blanket, bringing concern from Arti and Cici.
Arti kissed his cheek, "Are you alright love?"
Leo nodded, and Cici pulled him to his feet. "Please be careful- I'm sorry-"
"It's alright-"
"Uh- The thing I prepared, right-"
Cici suddenly felt out of place, he felt... like he didn't deserve to be here.
"Cici?"
Arti spoke up, noticing his troubled expression
"Oh- Yeah Arti?" Cici was sweating slightly.
"Are you alright?"
He flushed up, placing a hand to his face and lying.
"Yeah! Just- Just fine!"
Leo now pitched in. "Cici-"
He sighed. "Come on, let's just enjoy the picnic!"
He opened up the basket, and though Arti and Leo were still concerned, this was supposed to be fun. Cici quickly pecked both Leo and Arti, handing each a little sandwich. "Enjoy!"
They were quite neatly put together, each made for the one it went to.
Leo ate his down fairly quickly, though Arti took his time. Cici didn't eat a lot, staring over the distance and to a pond close by.
Ducks floated there. They simply floated.
"This is sweet of you Cici-" Leo mumbled it, now grabbing a piece of fruit from the basket.
"mhm- I love you!" Arti smiled, gaining a grin in return from Cici.
Cici now launched himself at the two, hugging them and successfully bringing Leo to the ground. Arti was too tall for that, though. He willingly joined the hug, chuckling to himself a little.
It was so nice outside..
The trio laid in the grass and held hands.
Leo fell asleep, Arti soon following in step. Cici, however, stayed awake. He wanted to look after his boyfriends.
...yet it was such a nice day..
