Alexa POV

I heard footsteps coming to my room. It was Katie. "Hey Alexa," she said as she said down next to me. "Can you please tell me why you said no to Dylan asking you to the dance." "I already told you," I replied. "He is taking pity on me." "We both know that isn't true," Katie said. "Tell the truth." I knew what the truth was and I knew Katie wouldn't judge me so I told her. "I didn't say yes because I don't like him, or any boy in that matter." "Oh, you'll find someone," she assured. "Yeah, I will," I confirmed. "But it will probably be a girl. I'm lesbian, Katie. I was waiting for the right time to tell you and I guess now is the time." Katie just smiled. "You have to tell me who you like right now!" "I do like someone, I think," I announced. "But I am not sure yet so I'm not telling anyone yet."
