Seeing as you are the disciplinary committee of this school, I trust that you will be the guides of the other school's committee.
Nine pairs of eyes disbelievingly reread the sentence hoping that it wasn't real.
Aria grit her teeth,
"No. Fudging. Way.", she seethed,"There is NO WAY! That I am granting the headmistress' request!"
There was a scrape of a chair before Isa rose as well,"I second that"
Maddie frowned in protest,"Oh come on guys... They can't be that bad, we haven't met them in person so we can't really just judge them right away-"
"Maddie, they are GUYS. Who knows what they can do.", all eyes swiveled to Amelia
This time Natalia spoke up,"But Maddie has a point you know, surprisingly"
Celia broke in,"Oooooo... Natalia siding with Maddie? That's a first. There must be a blue moon tonight or something"
"I don't know with you, but I agree with Amelia, Isa and Aria. According to my research, the guys from the other school's committee are bad news. Really bad news" Lydia commented as she continued typing on her laptop.
The room was silent as the girls tried to make sense of the coming problems to their school. Even the sounds of the animals outside their buildings seemed to fall quiet. The silence was broken as the bell rang loudly, signaling the start of classes. All chairs scraped across the floor as they started to pack up their bags.
Ira sighed and asked,"So what do we do then?", she adjusted her tie to perfection.
This time Sarah spoke up,"We do what the headmistress wants us to do-" the disciplinary committee badge gleamed.
"-guide the other school's committee.."Amelia finished with a resigned face as the group walked out of the meeting area as one to patrol the halls for unfortunate rule-breakers.
The doors swung shut with a bang, signaling the end of the girls' disciplinary meeting.
