It had been 3 days since Noah Einstein had gone missing. I seemed to be the only one who was riled up by it. A kid, a kid from my school had gone missing. Everyone was surprisingly calm Dylan had told me that kids had gone missing for years here. Every day after school Noah's mom would wait outside the school, like if she was hoping he would come out of the school with all the other kids Dylan had also said that every time someone had gone missing the cops would enforce new rules One of the new rules was that all kids had to get a ride home or take the bus. Which I thought was stupid because Noah took the bus and look what happened to him. It was Saturday and me and Dylan were going on a walk through the woods. "so, what do you think happened to Noah?" I asked after a long silence "I - I don't know" he muttered. then we both smelled something afoul. We both looked at each other with wide eyes. We feared the worst. Had we just discovered Noah Einstein's dead body? Or was it just a dead animal? We followed the smell. We came to a large lake and sure enough Noah Einstein's body was floating on its belly. I screamed so loud that some hikers heard me and ran over as I glanced at the body there was something off about it somehow. "what?! What happened" the hiker said while running over and then he saw Noah's body. He pulled out his cell phone and called 911. Soon the cops were at the lake questioning me and Dylan Like if we did something wrong. Noah's parents came soon after and they were both in tears. Me and Brandon were on our way back to my house and it was already dark so mom must have been scared. When we came up the driveway mom was waiting on the porch. Mom insisted that Brandon stay the night, so we called Brandon's mom to say he was staying over. I thought it was a bit weird because I had never had a boy over for a sleepover before. we couldn't relaxe we were both unsettled at the fact we had found a body, but I could tell Dylan was really sad about Noah. "Are you ok?" I asked "well we just found my friends body floating in a lake" he said there was a long silence. Later we went to bed and the nightmare was different. Me and Dylan were in bird cages? We were swinging the cages to try and brake free "HELP" I yelled to anyone who could hear me. I felt something cold on my neck I looked down and saw a necklace, but I didn't own a necklace that looked like that suddenly Dylan said "it's coming we have to get out" "what's coming" I asked "I don't know she's like a ghost" Dylan said and that's when I noticed that we weren't in my house or Dylan's we were in a little shack, and that's when I noticed Dylan was violently swinging his cage so I started swinging mine to and after a while they fell with a huge bang Dylan grabbed my arm and pulled. He was running so I was to. We rushed out of the little cabin and we were in the middle of nowhere. there was nothing but fields around us. We looked around to try and find something to run to for help but there was nothing around us, but suddenly we heard snarling and growling behind us, then I woke up.
