sitting on the couch your eyes glued to the television, you were watching your favorite show, a mug in your hand filled with hot chocolate, taking a few sips from it

it was colder now these days, so sitting in your warm house and drinking something hot and delicious was definitely comfortable in your opinion

the show episode ends leaving you with a cliffhanger, you quickly grab the remote to change to the next episode until the door swings open, being slammed right away making you jump, almost spilling your hot chocolate

"what the fvck is wrong with you, do you not understand that you just jeopardized my whole entire business" hearing his loud voice ring through the house, you knitted your brows, placing your mug down on the coffee table, soon standing up from the couch

"you're fvcking fired, don't even bother stepping foot in my building ever again!" hanging up the phone he throws it over to the counter, ripping his blazer off that was buttoned

you wanted to say something but you knew if you spoke up his words would come off harsh, already in a pissed off mood, saying something could make him even more mad

you were usually the one going to him and kissing him or hugging him, so him placing a kiss just as little on your forehead made you happy, especially since he was cold to you, and him coming home like this you thought he would be even more cold

you really wished you could help him, you weren't fully sure what exactly larry did to jeopardize his business but in times like this when you feel he's completely stressed or frustrated, you wanted to make him feel relaxed just for a little bit

even after all the times he didn't treat you so well, you still managed to make him feel like he has someone he could love and depend on to make his days or nights better
