chapter 7

"i hope they do well on the mission." you said looking from where they drove off from.

"i hope fugo gets hurt after he hurt me." narancia said with an annoyed expression.

"i know you don't mean that." you said turning to him.

"i mean he'll be fine, we have you and giorno to heal him." narancia said looking up to you from where he's sitting.

it was just you two waiting downstairs while bruno and mista were still guarding trish's door.

"hey so about bruno. you do like him, right?" narancia asked while tilting his head.

"maybe, why're you asking?" you replied confused.

"it's just that you barely met him so i'm confused on how you caught feelings so fast. unless you're those types of people who fall in love immediately, which i find kind of weird." he said scrunching up his face.

"hey it's not weird, but it is kind of strange to say how i know him. maybe there will be a time where i tell you all what happened and how i got here." you said looking at the floor. "well, i'm gonna go see if i can converse with trish, see ya." you said walking upstairs.

"why do you even want to? we're just here to protect her." narancia said looking at you walk away.

"(reader) what're you doing here? you're supposed to be downstairs with narancia." bruno said walking up to you.

"i was just wondering if i'd be able to talk with trish. i'm sure she's bored in there and id like to know her better." you said pointing to her door. "you can send mista down there with narancia since i'll be with trish."

"i don't mind going downstairs." mista said looking over at bruno.

"let me ask if she even wants to speak with you." bruno said walking to trish's door. he then knocked and spoke, "pardon me, but (reader) asked if they'd be able to accompany you while we wait for the others, if that's alright with you."

trish opened the door. "i don't mind. i'm pretty bored either way."

you smiled and walked towards the room. "hey trish, do you mind if i go in?"

"no, come in." she said and closed the door when you entered. she was quiet for a few minutes then decided to ask, "why do you even want to speak with me? you're just supposed to protect me, you're not obligated to befriend me or anything." she said rubbing her arm and looked out the window.

"well i mean we're going to be together for a while so i might as well get to know you, right? also, who knows how all of this is making you feel. i mean you're running away from people who want to kill you. it also seems like you've been hiding for quite a while so that means you wouldn't have many friends or friends at all. id like to be your first if you don't mind." you said smiling at her.

she just stared at you in disbelief. no one has ever cared enough to get to know her. the people she's stayed with just made sure to keep her alive and not even try to converse or get to know her. even with this group. you're the only one who's actually tried talking to her as if you're trying to befriend her. it was a nice change and she's glad it's you who wants to be her first friend.

"id like to be friends." she quietly replied looking at the floor.

"well that's great! i'm glad you accepted me as your friend. now, please tell me about yourself." you said joyfully as you scooted and patted the spot next to you on the bed so she can sit with you.

trish smiled and sat down with you. bruno was able to hear you from the other side of the door. he couldn't help but smile at how kind you were.

i'm glad i was able to meet (reader). they're very kind and funny. they fit right into the group and they know how to communicate with others very well. i hope they don't get hurt during this dangerous mission. bruno thought.

*mini time skip*

after a while of talking with trish there was a knock on the door.

"the others are back and they need healing, giorno was only able to help them until they got here." bruno said.

"alright then that's my queue to leave. it was very nice talking with you. please excuse me." you said walking out the room with bruno behind you.

"(reader), i just wanted to say thank you for welcoming and befriending trish." bruno said with a small smile. "it's good that she trusts you just in case something happens."

"oh no problem. i mean if i were in trish's position i'd want someone who i'd be able to talk to." you said with a thumbs up. "well gotta go heal them, see ya." you said walking away with a wink. bruno just chuckled at your behavior.

"awww, look at you poor things. ah! abbacchio you got hurt, you know what that means~ you get a lucky kiss." you said walking closer to him with a creepy smile.

"get away from me. i don't need your help." abbacchio said and tried to walk away from you but you tackled him to the ground. he wasn't able to fight back since he got injured.

"now be prepared pretty boy." you said as you kissed his cheek. "feeling all better?" you asked with a sly smile.

"get the fuck off of me." he said as he shoved you off.

"aww cmon now don't make me kiss you again. i mean it's your fault, and i know you purposely got hurt so i could kiss you. i mean you said you'd die if you were to get hurt so really you were trying to get a kiss from me. wanna know how i know? because you're not dead!" you said laughing at him.

"shut up, why would i ever want a kiss from you, and i tried to die but they forced me to come back with them alive." abbacchio said with a smirk.

"yeah yeah, alright fugo and giorno high five."

"wait wha-" fugo was then slapped on the face since he wasn't ready for the high five. giorno saw and chuckled a bit.

"YOU BITCH WHAT WAS THAT FOR! AND GIORNO SHUT UP!" fugo yelled as he grabbed you by the collar.

"HEY ITS NOT MY FAULT YOU WEREN'T READY!" you said trying to get him off. narancia was just laughing at the both of you. you both stopped and stared at narancia.

"hey what're you guys looking at huh?! you want a piece of me?!" narancia said pointing at you guys. you and fugo both walked up to him and smacked his head.

"HEY WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" narancia yelled rubbing his head.

"oops my hand slipped." you said with a smile.

"IT DID NOT!"

"stop messing around and get ready to leave." bruno said walking out of the house with trish and mista behind him.

"you heard the lovely man, let's go." you said as you tapped narancia's shoulder and walked away.
