The rest of the week went by in a flash
They all decided to just focus on the assignment and ignore their hatred towards each other

But tae was feeling bad deep down he knew he shouldn't have hated jungkook whose never ever done anything unfair to him
But still he decided to be a brat and continued onto the project

It was very late at night when they decided to call it a day..
Right now the three of them are on their way to home from jimin's

Namjoon soon parted way as he lives nearby on the opposite side of colony while jungkook walked ahead of them few minutes ago soon followed by tae in slow steps as he don't want to go home side by side with jungkook

As tae was walking down the alley he saw two drunk guys cornering a small figure into the corner of a dim litted lane

It doesn't took him a second to know who's that brown haired male is...

Tae panicked while thinking how to save the younger as soon a thought striked him
He have been watching too many tiktok videos lately so without wasting any time he took out his phone and played one of those SOS videos he saved online that contained sound of police sirens
He played the sound and kneeled behind the big trash can
Soon the both drunk thugs ran off by the blasting volume of tae's phone
And after when they were nowhere in his sight he stood and walked towards the younger who was sitting down at the wall of the alley

Taehyung crouched down beside younger who was sobbing slowly and looking with big doe teary eyes at Tae
When he recognised he threw himself onto his arms and cried harder

After what feels like half an hour of calming the younger tae pulled younger on his feet and dusted his clothes..

Jungkook opened the door and walked in and switched on the small lamp beside the bed
Tae walked inside and scanned the area it had a a bed a worn out carpet lying at front of it a bean bag a laptop a small almirah attached at the wall and a few medals and photo frames here and there
Tae examined the two frames that hung onto the old color faded walls one was a child and a women dressed as those sisters at church holding hands..by the smile of that kid tae concluded that he was jungkook and another was jimin and him sitting at the same swing outside while laughing at something...

Tae cleared his throat I mean I am sorry jungkook for that day and also for today I am sorry about your parents

Ohh well don't be cuz I don't know much about them and also it's okay for that day as you were just joking And I am over sensitive I should have been more manly haha

Jungkook nodded and followed behind tae outside the door and just went tae was about to leave

Jungkook doesn't wanted jimin to know cause the older of the two worries too much about jungkook
He is the only one apart from Taehyung now who knows that he's an orphan and lives alone
Jungkook's parents died when he was just a year old and was raised by his a orphanage
He ran from there when a family decided to adopt him and from the age of 14 till now he lives alone
Jimin told his parents about him and they decided to help him but Jungkook doesn't wanted anyone's pity or help he thought he is mature enough to handle his own shit
But even after saying so they managed to enroll him as same school as jimin and helped him to get a part time job at walmart so that he can support his living
His school fee is completely paid by jimin's parents so he just have to worry about his survival needs

He met jimin at the subway when he was sleeping onto the bench 2 years ago and the older immediately covered his shivering body with his expensive fur coat and handed him the spring rolls he was eating

Shortly after he came back with his parents and they took him with them to their house
His parents were both rich as his father was a business man while his mother was a beautician so managing finances of another child wasn't something too hard for them
All in all Jungkook is always thankful to them and took a mental note to pay them back soon..
When Jungkook requested Taehyung to not tell anything he only doesn't mean about the incident to jimin but he also meant about his living condition and about his parents to anyone at school and even though tae treated him badly that day he knew he's not a jerk who bitches and backtalks about people or is insensitive about someone living condition
Yes he was poor and orphan but everyone doesn't have to know that right??
Everyone is not understanding as his best friend his parents and now as Tae's
